Re: Ivar''s, Gilad's, and Aram's ages

My only point of contention is that the very beginning of Eternal Warrior #1 takes place "Before Recorded History" and I'm not sure if 2100 BC qualifies. :hm: The 33rd century BCE is "before recorded history" in Anatolia, and about the same time as recorded history in Sumer, IIRC.

Ivar''s, Gilad's, and Aram's ages

I know in early ads it was mentioned that Gilad & Aram were 10,000 years old, but Valiant Voice #2 later had them being born about 5000 years ago..Seeing that Valiant Voice had the VH1 timeline, I'm fairly certain this is correct. However, I'm currently "edit-warring" with someone over...

I currently have no problem with the "look" of the site. A far bigger annoyance, IMO, is having to scroll left to right when reading certain threads.

after thousands of years EVERYTHING would get boring... And yet Armstrong still drinks and romances the ladies :D This is a great topic...it makes me wonder if A&A was a concept that BWS brought to VALIANT and Shooter just let him run wild with, even if it meant inconsistencies with powers-as-t...

Another question:

Are there any indications that PunX or the Outcast occur in the VH1 universe? I have the Outcast Special & didn't see any relation between it & the other books (that I remember), & never picked up PunX for the same reason.

Thanks.

Question:

Shouldn't The VALIANT Era Companion #1 be read before Solar #10? IIRC, VEC showed Gil & Joe Nicoletti's first meeting in 'Nam, plus set the stage for their later meeting at Harbinger.

There's no connection but it might be considered a Gold Key/Pre VALIANT series.
Do any of the Valiant books reference anything in the series? I'm just wondering if I should pick it up.

How is Captain Johner & The Aliens connected to the Valiant Universe? I never bothered reading it, as I figured there wasn't any connection.

Re: Andromeda (Armstrong's wife)

Were there any other references to characters from similar mythologies? One issue of Eternal Warrior claimed that Gilad was King Arthur, but this is impossible as the story of Arthur clearly states that he was a kid when he pulled the sword from the stone, as well as also contradicts Arthur's birth...

Re: Andromeda (Armstrong's wife)

Just finished re-reading the storyline with her at the beginning of the series, & was wondering if her alleged immortality was ever explained. How long has she been alive? IIRC, Ivar, Gilad, & Aram are the only "born" immortals in VH1. Don't remember reading much more about her. M...

2020 AD March Obadiah Archer marries Harbinger Charlene DuPre. Together, the two found a movement dedicated to world peace, known as the "Archies." This one isn't 100% credible. I don't believe for a moment that it took them until 2020 to get married. That would mean they got married in t...
