We are in the dark ages again for VALIANT characters.
It’s disappointing. These characters have so much potential.

Welcome back! History repeated itself while you were gone. The VALIANT mind lost control.
We are back in the dead zone of the Acclaim days.

Great to see the round 2 arrive with more reasonable expectations! As a fan since the beginning of Defiant until the end, I can’t wait to read Schism after all these years.

I’ve personally avoided reading the plot and produced pages that have been available online for years for some odd reason ...

Half way there. 30 days to go. This isn’t looking good to succeed.

Back to the vaults these go until a more worthy creator makes it happen with less grandiose thoughts.

I’m good on Valiant. We had 2 great runs. Time to put the toys away for a while. Let them rest.

I backed this in hopes of reading it and having some unexpected closure to Defiant. $60k is a high goal for a Defiant comic.

I don’t post often but felt compelled to share that Alien Books currently has a kickstarter going for “I, Dragon” created by the late great Juan Gimenez. $30 for the complete box set of volumes 1-3 (56 pages each) in a slipcase. Very reasonable price to me. The kickstarter has already far exceeded ...

All these many years later. Suddenly, new memories? We’re talking 35 years later!

It’s all nonsense. And, if it were to be true, what’s the point? What is the objective here? To tell the old school VALIANT fans out there your copies may be fake? But, maybe not?

I don’t get it.

Alien would be well advised to license characters. Alien doesn’t know the VALIANT characters.

It should be so easy. The characters are already there. Yet, it’s a mess still

It’s tough when you know something can be great but the controllers are clueless

Bummer current Valiant is clueless and poor.

Starts off slow. That’s rough for a 2 issue miniseries. No time for slow with 48 pages to work with.

Thank you Greg and all those that have supported him along the way. This has always been a wonderful place to visit throughout the years. There’s been turmoil of course but the passion displayed here by VALIANT fans is unequaled in my experience since the start of the internet in large.

No blame intended on anyone ever on my part.

If I could blame anyone, it would be myself for not supporting VEI more than I did at the time.

If only Dinesh didn’t need to take the DMG money. :(. We had it so good 2012-2018. Best VALIANT ever other than pre-Unity, Unity, and the 6 months following.

Bad Idea art is always killer. The stories, not so much. The stories seem like an afterthought when it comes to Bad Idea. But, I don’t blame him. After losing a company built on stories, I would try something different as well. Had to hurt bad.

What a bummer. I was hoping on Alien. Instead, the same old disappointment. What a waste of great characters.
Hopefully the new generations like it. I don’t but I’m old school.

I'd like to see a maxi series that expands on the events from Rai #0, with each individual issue showing the end of each character's story as detailed in that single issue.

Layton could write the X-O Manowar issue, Hall could write and, potentially, draw the Shadowman issue. Vanhook could write ...

My dream team for an old school VALIANT universe closure event . One year. First 6 months for the reunion. Final six months for the end.
