Re: Do we really have a superhero universe?
I always looked at the valiant universe as people not always trying to save their world but just trying to survive in it.

I liked them but admit they're not great. Or very good. But not awful.Sir Sandrick wrote:Who here read all 6 of the Eternal Warriors books? I tried reading one of them and I just found it unbearable... and I even liked some things about Punx so that is saying something!

Re: Acclaim eternal warriors question
is this series any good? i'm thinking about getting it from comixology. don't think this will ever get collected and don't want to hunt the paper issues either. but really, is it worth it? A dollar an issue, and each issue is double sized by the way, is worth it. A little wordy in places. But hey i...

Re: Acclaim eternal warriors question
So I read issue 6 and enjoyed it. But I'm wondering if this digital edition is missing a page. Mog and his wife are fighting. Last panel on page shows him punching her. Yet we never see how the fight ended or what happened to either one of them. After cutting to a couple of other scenes Ivar address...

Really looking forward to it as I remember issue 5 left in a huge cliffhanger. Might have to put housework aside so I can read issue 6. Priorities after all. LolElveen wrote:I was my favorite issue of the run.

One day Eternal Warrior sale on Comixology!
Lots of older and newer EW for cheap. Including The Valiant #1. Some nice surprises too.

Acclaim eternal warriors question
Anyone remember the Acclaim Eternal Warriors series? It ran quartery and each issue was double sized. I have the first five issues. While at the back of issue five they solicit issue 6 I was always under the impression that issue never came out. But just now I was on Comixology and noticed they have...

Re: Ivar Timewalker #1
I liked it but didn't love it the same way I remember loving the first issue of Archer & Armstrong. Still has a chance though. This Ivar seems different from the one that appeared in A & A. At first I was worried we were going to run into the same character problem we ran into with the Etern...

I thought the plus material was brilliant, great background on Japan, Positronics and Radddies. I thought it was really clever that in the Raddie manifesto it mentions that it is printed on paper and that is a precious thing, like it's subversive information not available to the digital world due t...

Gotta be honest. It didn't do much for me. Many other groups in the sect more interesting than this group. Liked them at the beginning of A & A. But not enough to feel they warranted a one shot.

Re: Unity and Harada.
Because it is more realistic that not everything happens simultaneously all the time. I don't want VEI to end up like Marvel where you can not understand any one series because they keep on crossing over to each other. I suspect that Unity would confront Harada once Imperium starts. Just give it ti...

Unity and Harada.
WARNING! HARBINGER: OMEGAS SPOILERS! Harada has basically overtly declared war on the rest of the world. And like Aric, took over a country(or did Harada take over the whole continent of Africa? Can't remember). He's even gone so far as to invade the White House. So why hasn't Unity been sent after ...

Re: IGN Top 10 Valiant Heroes
Harada was a big miss. Could you call Harada a hero, though? That's one of the things that makes valiant so interesting. If you think about it most of the main characters are not traditional "heroes" in the conventional sense. More like protagonists trying to survive in a world with power...

great issue, although I was hoping Archer's real parents would have had a moment of closure. I mean, why would a stranger about the same age, sex, and hair color of your missing son come by and start asking personal questions about your family? another page of them figuring it out on their own woul...

Enjoyed this series but felt mostly like set up for the next story rather than a story in itself. One idea I really like is how in a lot of comics, TV, movies, ect there is a recurring theme of young people thinking they know what's right and they have to take down the older "evil" establi...

Re: Archer & Armstrong #25 Discussion
Great issue. A & A has been my favourite of the new era of Valiant. Usually don't care for back ups. But each back up story was great. I couldn't get into the Deliquents as one reason was it didn't feel it fit into the story here. But with the ending here I can see how this leads into that story...

Re: Valiant stands out a little more on Comixology
This is as good a place as any to note that Comixology has also split the Valiant page into two sections. Valiant and Classic Valiant. I assume that Valiant must be doing something right regarding online sales. Or is this a forerunner to doom and gloom? I noticed that too. I like it as it makes it ...
