Re: A few older VEI variants
Harbinger #10 - another Khari Evans variant, again not sure of the ratio. This one is probably give away to a good home of someone is interested in hyping anything else I’ve got, it has some wrinkle damage on the cover.

Harbinger #9 Khari Evans variant - can’t recall the ratio on this one, might have just been a cover A/B etc.? I don’t think they labelled these consistently on the covers early on.

Re: What comics are you reading now?
I've been enjoying keeping up with the GHOST MACHINE line of comics that began with GEIGER & Junkyard Joe, and the most recent newer titles have been very good so far as well. REDCOAT was my favourite over ROOK: Exodus, but that one was enjoyable as well. The concept for ROOK felt a tad forced b...

Re: VALIANT DARQUE - a fan fiction concept
Holy crap, that's excellent man! No need for inks even. I have to admit I haven't read Spitfire. I came to it later and only read some of Starbrand and DP7, but I did fill my gaps in those and picked up The Pitt a year or so ago, so I've been meaning to go back and read them all. I'll have to check...

Fair warning, this is a relatively boring page as far as subject matter goes - just some dialogue scenes. I kinda wince whenever I look at some of these panels.

Good stuff there, Ryan! Always great to see fan passion translated into actual art & writing. :thumb: :thumb: I love doing it too - I’ve currently got a fan-fic New Universe based comic on the go… which I’ve been trying to find time to complete for the last 5 years, lol Thanks man! I'm a huge N...

Re: A few older VEI variants
This one is a fun nod to Terminator. Just a “regular” ratio variant (Cover D).

As a duderino who still buys VEI books, I'm very interested. :thumb: Ok, soooo… other than THEWGZK, not too much interest! I have not had any time to get into compiling a list of the ones I’m parting with yet… I keep getting pulled in multiple directions to other tasks etc. I may post some pi...

A few older VEI variants
Hey guys, I have a small pile of early-mid VEI era variants that I am going to part with after a recent overall comic collection purge… I’m not specifically looking to sell here with this specific thread (I know there’s a section for that) - just wondering if there might be any Vfans around here sti...

Re: Corporate Wars
No one has done a corporate war/ dystopian future setting quite like Rucka & Lark in the image series Lazarus. It’s one of my top 3 all time favourite modern comics out there. Very intelligent, relatively grounded sci-fi that tries to forward-think current technology and Geo-political trends in...

Re: Best Case Scenario...
So question for you then, what would you consider the definitive Valiant to be? That's gonna be slightly different for everyone. but for me: VH1 was garbage by Birthquake Agreed. I gave up on what few VALIANT comics I was still reading by the time that era came around. VH2 never held my attention (...

Re: Best Case Scenario...
I meant that doing new Vh1 stories by new writers who never read them would be a massive undertaking and not worth the effort. I agree with you on that point. BUT… I’m also thinking that there’s gotta be someone out there who was either a fan in the 90’s and is a pro creator now, or one of the orig...

Re: Just not feeling it anymore
As far as my comic collection goes - I think I’ve got about 5 long boxes-worth of books set aside now that are gonna go out the door. That is the single largest purge of comics I have ever done, and instead of being a painful or traumatic experience of letting go, it felt like a weight lifted and m...
