Re: Valiant NY Offices are Permanently Closed

It has been a while since I have posted here. I admit I am a little behind on Valiant Comics. However, I just re-read Harbinger vol. 1 by Josh Dysart. (Trades I thought I had lent out and never gotten back but found over the weekend) Anywho, what happened to Valiant? I picked up some issues from ti...

Knowing Marvel Deadpool will be in it...
I dunno I think it'll stink, just like crossgen and other groovy licences that Marvel owns, but is now locked away in the Disney Vault forever and ever.

also not to double post, but what I never understood about One More Day was this: why didn't Peter resurrect Gwen Stacey the love of his life?

Didn't mind it, Ming Doyle's art wasn't terrible! The over the top right wing bashing was mehl I am a Stand up comic myself and saw the punchlines coming like 5th ave. As Bugsy stated about the Mistress with the Abortion, he was spot on with my thinking there.
I am hoping it gets better from here.

Also the Nanite theory on Archer, and his connection to him possibly becoming the Bleeding Monk, perhaps the Nanites keep him alive, and maybe his learning abilities; Archer has a Photographic Memory and he remembers the Ivar Time Scroll, and goes back in time?

Can I have my Tin Foil hat please?

"Some call it fried dough, some call them funnel cakes...I call it JUSTICE FUEL"  A great line indeed! Usually I hate the mention of social media in comic books, I think making specific references only helps date something, in a couple years you'll probably look back at this on...

Re: DC 3D villians

If only DC could focus on actualy quality content, not gimmicks, to sell their books. I agree 100%. I did however enjoy the Joker story! Joker training a monkey to be a henchmen! The 3D cover I bought because I like the Joker, but a week later I kinda feel Whoopity-Doo! :? I would have been just as...

Re: Eternal Warrior #1 Discussion

This issue was good, but it was alright. It felt kinda above average nothing spectacular. I will pick up issue #2 but my question is will this book continue to be average? Will this be a series to invest into? This being said I am curious where #2 is going to go. But this did not have that push for ...

I loved the issue! Archer and Armstrong is probably my favorite book! (Quantum and Woody is probably just under it) And, I didn't have a problem the Armstrong and Mary-Maria coupling. I believe Archer learned an important life lesson the hard way; I can sympathize with him, however I don't feel too ...

Trades outsell comics in general. They are generally cheaper, and who knows Valiant could have the Vertigo effect. Vertigo would not be around if not for trade paperbacks.

As a former USPS employee, it could have been thrown in a box, and a very heavy package on top. Most folks whom had to sort the packages would generally throw the specific boxes with little to no care. I'd yell at folks to be careful with packages, most the time I'd be yelled at by the said careless...

Ms. Doyle doesn't seem bad. I will miss Mr. Fowler, but what I love about Valiant is they take talented folks whom aren't huge names (i.e. Jim Lee, Jeph Loeb, etc.) And they let them run loose! And Magic happens everytime.

I want Armstrong to replace Torque! But my money is on Bloodshot and the Harbinger Renegades. In all seriousness I think Torque may pull through. Who knows? :? I want Harbinger 16 in my hands. Dysart knows how to do a Cliffhanger, because Harbinger 15 was Bananas! This time around Torque is way more...

What a great issue. FVL just get's better and better with each one. Anticipating that by the time of Sect Civil War, we'll be unable to get through an issue without our brains melting. And I did not expect that ending! Old time Valiant fans should get a huge smile out of that one! All you holdouts ...

I think my greatest dream of collecting a run would be Batman, but I don't allow myself to even think about it. Hm, that is quite the Everest challenge of collecting, probably up there with collecting Superman. I would want to break up the run though by artist or favorite artist. Collect all Adams'...

Kinda weird, but I wanna get Punisher the whole Garth Ennis Run. I do own an Amazing Spider-man #129. A book I wanted since I was 8 years old. But I couldn't see myself owning some of the terrible Punisher series in the 90's. I read them as a kid, but now I am embarrassed to say I enjoyed them. I ho...

So I really really wanted to read this issue, but I started a new job which made me miss my normal comic shop time. (Old Job I had Wednesdays off, so I had first dibs on new issues). So I went to my Comic Shop, and they were all sold out :(. I traveled/called all other comic shops, they said they we...

To me, and this is coming from a guy whom never read any Valiant in the past. Shadowman is just alright. I have only read 1-3, and the thing feels to me compared to other Valiant titles as Vanilla ice cream with vanilla sauce and vanilla sprinkles. Its kind of bland, it is still better than most thi...
