Re: What needs to work in Eternal Warrior??
Pak has done a fine job, IMO. I've loved every issue from him. Nord on this book full time would just up amazing factor for me. I just want more with the Geomancer's.

And here I thought I was the only one to completely drop my Marvel & DC books for Valiant. I really hope they continue for a very long time.

I can definitely get behind this. His 'Tec run was one of the best runs in the batbooks, just bogged down with cleaning up continuity issues for the lesser books in the line.

I know he's launching his career here at Valiant by doing the X-O #0 issue, but according to this article Diego Bernard is still the ongoing artist for this book...so where is he going? Is he going to be the rotating artist for this series? Or is he going to be doing a high profile launch of a new ...

Re: Eternal Warrior #8 discussion
All in all I really hope they give Eternal Warrior another chance. I think the series can do very well with a new coat of paint and maybe some tighter direction. I am very sad to see it on hiatus and really hope they re-examine it for a return.
Don't worry they haven't forgotten about EW

This month was a doozy, but for me it goes a little like:
Rai 3
Armor Hunters 2
X-O Manowar 27
AH Harbinger 1
AH Bloodshot 1
Unity 9
Harbinger 25
Archer & Armstrong 22
Quantum & Woody 12

I kinda want Kindt to launch a Ninjak solo after reading this issue. Probably the best character in this series, and I love them all.

You know, he'd be perfect to launch a new Ninjak ongoing. Mann on art, Kindt writing...I smell success. But that's just me. Venditti & Kindt have made me a uberfan of Ninjak since I've began reading Valiant.

For me it was:
Eternal Warrior
Unity
Harbinger
Archer & Armstrong
X-O
Bloodshot & H.A.R.D. Corps
Quantum & Woody
Shadowman (the Kot story was exceptional, not really blown away by the rest)

Quite a bit to absorb with this one. We get some new recruits that make Granite, Superstar and Disciple look like The A-Team and not only see some new powers but their terrible effects. Super speed has never looked more horrifying.

Good. I just expected more than a what he's doing while he waits for the members of Unity to attack him issue. The art was beautiful and brilliant, tho. If we get 4 issues of this, I might be disappointed with this arc.

I think that Ales Kot or Joshua Hale Fialkov would both be fantastic choices. As for art... I think there're lots of awesome artists that would make Rai look amazing. But my ones are mostly pipe dreams. I mean, sure, Jock drawing Rai would be mind blowing, but unlikely...

I wonder if we're also getting a Ninjak solo book next year as well...? His stock is certainly rising after that great open arc in X-O last year, and then his amazing presence in Unity thus far, it seems to me like he's being groomed for his own book sooner rather than later.

As much as I want the Gold Key's back with Valiant, I do hope this book is successful if only for Greg Pak's sake. I do really enjoy his work, and especially his work on Eternal Warrior.

I just bought a pretty big lot of VH1 books pre-Unity and I'm just wondering which books should I read first? Should I start with the Gold Key characters, and if so, which one? Is there a thread on this site that tells you when they came out?
