Re: Archie Superheroes relaunch
Black Hood #3 was a pleasure to read. Loved Duane's work on X; and this stufff for Dark Circle is amazing. Hettinger isn't your prototypical "hero"; he's a self loathing junkie on a vendetta; but against no one in particular ( altjough here, he's looking for the proverbial kingpin of Phill...

Re: Your dream 9 book lineup
Assuming all were quality books.... 1 Archer & Armstrong 2 XO Manowar 3 Armor Hunters ongoing (the AH backstory; plus the Control obsession with the armors were the best part of the AH crossover; would make for some great reading and give Valiant a truly universal feel) 4 Rai 5 Ninjak (still ear...

Re: March 2015 Sales Discussion
Wow, look at Image and IDW just completely stealing market share from DC. Marvel's still doing fine, but this seems like 2 solid months of DC just crumbling, no? I know this is Valiant talk (and very glad they remain in the Top 10 Unit Shares), but overall market thoughts, anyone? DC is suffering. ...

Re: Book of the Month - March 2015
Yeah; Imperium was the winner for me. Nice plot points, interesting developments regarding PRS; lots of twists that made me imagine the possibilities for the future of the title. Ninjak was a good start but couldn't compete with the great writing of Imperium. Enjoyed XO; especially with the Loam dev...

yeah but there's a new one on there of the VH1 Turok which looks amazing. Tons of figs on there; lots of non valiant too; just search by publisher, or movie etc. (Some more Valiant figs too, but you gotta search by character name to pull them up)

Re: Archie Superheroes relaunch
I'm really impressed with the first 2 issues of Black Hood. A gritty, down to earth "superhero" comic. Its pushing the borders between Paul Kersey vigilantism and all out psychotic/fanatic. Plus the cover stock is just AMAZING!!! Don't know what it is, but Archie says they'll use it for Th...

Re: Ebay Valiant Variant buyers beware
How do you mail singles? I've always used oversized padded mailer, plus a couple of sturdy pieces of cardboard to enshroud the smaller comic, plus I reverse tape the cardboard so the comic doesn't move much. I always use tracking to avoid scammer, plus I wanna keep buyer informed of shipping progres...

Re: Book of the Month - February 2015
Rai was my #1 book of the month merely for the sole reason of that oh *SQUEE* moment of the prior Rai being revealed. How many past Rai's survive and still exist. Great moment. Nothing else really stood out; Imperium was a nice start; Divinity was basically backfill to lay the groundwork, XO and Uni...

And nobody has mentioned yet Ninjak First Appearance in XO #5? the one book I have cases of sitting in the back somewhere? :o :o :o  Hmm, I don't know if I'd call it a "key" issue seeing as its reboot ninjak. But thats interesting that it "could" become a sought after issu...

Re: X-O Manowar #34 Discussion
So, what happened to all those armors that apparently took out Control and all his Armor Hunters. They're dead, which is what activated Dead Hand, right? So, that must mean that there are still more armors out there, presumably just like Aric & Shanhara, right? Loved the art, and yes, there are...

Re: ... and then Dinesh tweeted...
Well if its got nothing to do with the GK characters; why tweet the cover photo and the message? Merely to draw attention to VEI? That's the kinda of slimy self promotion I loath. And I don't really see VEI and Dinesh engaging in that kinda of behavior based on their past actions. So I think it has ...

Re: X-O Manowar #34 Discussion
Loved it. And whilst I do have some q's i'm starting to answer them myself. Why leave Dead Hand as last resort? Simply put; Too many armors out there. Armors seem to seek out sentient planets to conquer/populate/reproduce, therefore the armors wouldn't attract the attention of the armors. One armor,...

Re: Do You Want The GK3 Characters At VEI?
Which titles exactly would be drowned out by the GK characters? The ones we would never see because they focused on old instead of new. By that rationale Bleeding Monk doesn't exist because Harbinger is an " old property"; Mary Maria doesn't exist because A&A is an old property. Etc e...
