Re: Imperium #2 Discussion
think gravedog is pulling a double switch. he gives the expendable speech to Pig Killer; gets to off the prs traitor, is a cheken with ties to no one. He's the kind of man to kill Harada, in his own words. What better way to ingratiate oneself to Harada and get close enough to off him, then by savin...

Re: Do You Want The GK3 Characters At VEI?
Which titles exactly would be drowned out by the GK characters? Rai XO, Some variation of Harbinger, Unity and the upcoming Ninjak are the only ongoings. That's five titles of the 9 per month norm. Still have room for all three GK books plus another VEI title. Plus; the DH rebooted was poorly execut...

Re: Turok #12: Final Issue Discussion
Is it just me or was the art highly uneven. First few pages had alot of character flair whereas the battle in the firest looked like a grade school drawing. Must have had at leadt two different artists. Really sad to look at. and ghe story was just rubbish. Hoping the rumors are true, and GK is retu...

Re: WTF does this mean???
Plus, if they obtain the rights ( outright or otherwise) they can publish Deluxe format books of all the VH1 properties, even collect Unity into a proper HC. I gotta think Dead Hand will lead into a Magnus tie in, XO can't possibly defeat a billion Bots ( solicits for Dead hand mention an enemy a bi...

Re: Is Dark Horse's Project Black Sky Dead?
Sorry to say but the whole PBS/CGW thing was train wreck. Poorly conceived and dumbfoundingly executed. Its too bad because individually the titles had potential. That being said, I think it's extremely difficult to have a superhero line in today's market that is glutted with the genre and strangle...

is it just me or were the Torment shown in the Izak backstory, after the hybrids are shown? Would love to see the Torment in action, or wre these just shady representations of the hybrids? They didn't have multiple arms, and they had a similar elingated form that we saw in the early issues of XO tha...

Re: Is Dark Horse's Project Black Sky Dead?
I concur that Swierczinski is just hitting all the right notes on this book. It might be an improvement over the CGW version Still hoping for the universe to survive; but depending on X to be a mainstay w/ or w/out PBS. Who knows; if X is the only remaining title, maybe he garners enough readership ...

Well, on the plus side; April solicits show X is continuing. Its part 2 of a new arc; which I believe will continue to explore The Mark. So hopefully this little gem from PBS continues for a long while.

Re: Q&W in The Valiant? (I sure hope not)
Q&W are terrible. Why ruin a good book by constantly inundating readers with their nonsense. Hoping Dino ditches Q&W altogether and puts out either good titles of VH1 characters or tries some new properties ( ala Divinity); the Q&W experiment needs to end. they suck

Q&W in The Valiant? (I sure hope not)
Saw an alternate/ variant cover for The Valiant #2, and it clearly shows Q &W , plz tell me they AREN'T going to make an appearance. I'm tired of these characters and would hate to drop this title ( I would have no choice though if Q&W make an app, I hate them that much)

Re: Upcoming News!
Coming from a major detractor of Armor Hunters, even I don't really see/hear about AH turning people off VEI. I hated the execution of the AH event as a whole, but enjoyed lots of the singular issues, especially those involving the AH backstory ( though I believe the climax and finale of AH were bot...

Avengers #19; Enter the Swordsman, who teams with Power Man ( later to become the evil Goliath) and the Enchantress. There was a betrayal by Hawkeye allowing the villains to escape. ( issue 20 I think). Later went through 25 cent bins and started reading Steelgrip Starkey; Rom the Spaceknight; Peter...

Divinity is Solar?
Its been stated before that Divinity is Solar, without the Solar name ( which doesn't bother me, plus its a nice FU to Dynamite for stealing the Phil Seleski name and apparantly Dr Eclipse (according to some solicits I've seen from Dynamite); a kinda of anything you can do I can do better) With that...

Re: Book of the Month - December 2014
For me; it was a pretty lean month. I don't buy Q&W ( so there's 2 books off the poll already) The Death Defying Doctor Mirage ( not a knock my socks off issue, but readable) Eternal Warrior: Days of Steel (nothing to move the story forward) Harbinger: Faith (bleh, wasn't an origin issue and did...

Re: Why so much Q&W?
Not to sound too "douchy" but I'm not really looking for a "I love Q&W" or a "I hate Q&W" answer. I'm just looking for an answer of why they publish so much Q&W stuff period. ? It's got to be either a sales thing, possibly a high feedback rating on a questio...

Why so much Q&W?
I personally detest Q&W, which is why I didn't get Delinquents ( though I read my buddy's) nor Q2. I also wont/didn't get giant sized Q&W and see they have solicits for a Q&W must die mini ( ironic sense that's how I feel about the characters)... but the question is " why is there a...

Finally! They're taking XO in a more cosmic direction. I like that Valiant is expanding beyond Earth into the cosmos. Hopefully we'll get some info on what became of the other Armor Hunter teams and command. Perhaps re-explore the XO armors, how many more are out there? Are they as destructive/dange...

Ill have to go back and check; but I don't remember Gilly having those scars in Unity or XO? Anyone save me the trouble of digging through back issues to check that? Is it safe to assume there was a geomancer as part of Aric's tribe, seeing as it wasn't an age of Darkness, and Gilly seems to be alwa...

Re: The Valiant #1
Just finished this issue, and sadly I can't say it was all that great. Nice exposition on Gilad and his eternal fight to protect the Geomancer from the Eternal Enemy. Even makes logical sense why these others characters ( Bloodshot, XO, Aram) would make appearances ( he needs to recruit warriors to ...

Just finished X#20.... man, this is how an arc should end. Nice exposition on Heide and how he assembled his mob; without distracting from the overall story. The confrontation at the hospital was tight, flowed logically. The resolution was awesome spoilers: but its another antagonist X has offed tha...

Re: Project Black Sky
Ghost #10.... Wow, a slow read that leads up to a fantastic climatic ending. Lots of exposition about Elisa accepting her "ghost" persona and kind of rejecting her past life. An acceptance that her past life has expired/ past and she has a new role to lead; however its a violent one and I ...
