Re: Incursion #1 Discussion
I'm kind of on the fence about this, might grab the trade. I want more Eternal Warrior, but I am not a fan of the Deadside stuff. I really wish they would give him his own series again with some longer term plans for the character; something ultra bloody and violent.

Wow that was great from beginning to end. I loved the splash page with the psiots calling out their positions around the space elevator. Superb, Imperium hasn't missed a step!

Re: X-O Manowar [2017] #25 Discussion
The title came in like a lion, leaving like a mouse. I loved how the series started, but it kind of has been in a state of "meh" for a bit and now it's hanging up its hat. I'm hoping the new series returns some of that old excitement, but for me this issue felt almost like a rush to the en...

Re: What comics are you reading now?
Some people are speculating that he will end it with #301 just to put it to Dave, but I really don't think so, I think Todd has higher aims than that. He wants Spawn to be as recognizable as Batman or Spiderman in households. You can never say the man isn't ambitious as hell and hard working to boot...

Toyo Harada and Fallen World should be good, but that's it for me unless there is some X-O stuff coming.

I really hope when they reboot X-O it's nothing like this, or I'm pretty much done with Valiant (excluding Toyo Harada's series I need to know how that wraps up!). Bloodshot went from my favorite Valiant character to not being able to read a single issue....total garbage.

There was no way everyone would have survived the impact of an asteroid from space....Aric I can buy...but that's like the force of a couple atomic bombs going off. It was really dumb the way it was presented, like Aric caught it midair but it somehow caused a huge impact crater anyways. I can't wai...

Re: X
I was a big fan of Project Black Sky when it was going on. Captain Midnight, X, and Brain Boy were awesome. X was actually written by Duane Swierczynski(sp?), and it's just about as brutal and bloody as Bloodshot. I recommend it, but I wouldn't go out of your way to find it. I really liked it too. ...

Bring on Life and Death of Toyo Harada. I need one more Dysart, Warren, Dinesh story in my life. I'm kind of on the same boat, but I will get Incursion too; I love Eternal Warrior when he's done right. If the new Harada story is written to the same caliber as Imperium I have no worries at all that ...

I'm excited that the bounty hunters are coming back I loved their look; very Boba Fett-esque except they actually do something other than take nose dives into screaming Sarlacc Pits.

I loved the art but the same thing about the amulet confused me. Everything else worked though, it's good to see Eternal Warrior back. I am really kind of taken back by the series ending in the next issue though but it seems to make sense considering the change in direction for the character.

No real fight to speak of It's a nice return to form after the absolute slog that was four months of Barbarians. I agree, I wasn't a fan of that arc, it really should have been one issue of flashback. I think 7/10 is fair for the new issue, not a lot going on, lots of setup, but I'm not a huge fan ...

Re: Super Genius reprinting Tekno Universe comics
My dream is that one day they relaunch the Mr. Hero universe. My favorite "indie" comic series, probably my favorite series ever; back in the day there were rumors of a movie in negotiation. I would love for that to someday be a real thing. It would be very different from anything out ther...

Re: Doomsday Clock
They are begging for comparisons with the source material, framing it as a sequel of sorts, they better try to match or surpass the quality of the original, otherwise there is very little point to doing it artistically. I'm sure Moore is spitting venom all over it.

I'm really digging Legacy Moon Knight but he's my favorite comic character ever, so not a hard win for me, but I like far better than Lemire's take. I started out loving Lemire's run, but by the third tpb it was pretty much a really really decompressed story...but I still want to dig more into MK. ...

I dug it, very intriguing, but it lacks in the subtle touches and nuances of the original. It feels much more on the rails than the original did; they will never truly compare.

I started re-reading the entirety of Alan Moore's Swamp Thing, just finished the "American Gothic" tpb (vol. 4 of the new editions); *SQUEE*, this is really on another level of quality. I bought these editions a while back, had read some of the stuff in college, but not the whole run. &qu...
