Re: Valiant and U.S. Open Cricket
That game was waaaayyyy back, back when I lived in Australia ~ so pre 1998. I will ask my friends if they remember it, they watch alot of sport. I only recall it, because of the forward NFL ball play as a joke, and the consequences. Will see if someone remembers at least the year Where in Australia...

Re: Valiant and U.S. Open Cricket
Is Cricket the one with the All-Blacks? The New Australian All-Blacks? Rugby. I have been Chiclo’d. But, I have been Chiclo’d by one of the best. New Zealand All Blacks. Arguably the best Rugby Union team in the world and they are consistent. Imagine NFL without the pads, with bigger hits. They are...

Re: Valiant and U.S. Open Cricket
How much exposure did Valiant get from the... luge team? Bobsledders? Whatever that sled sport was that it sponsored back in the heydays of Dino? I have heard that cricket matches can last days - upwards of half a week. I thought football and basesball games dragged on too long. But at least there ...

Re: Valiant Accountability Project - Who ISN’T Reading Rai?
I thought the thread was pretty funny until IMJ showed up and called me a moron. Dallow is more tolerable because he has wit. And I answered the survey long ago, just didn't bother to post. I was mocked here for still having all Valiant titles on my pull list, but I figured that at least indicated ...

Re: Valiant and U.S. Open Cricket
I'm from Australia where cricket is huge, and to be honest, i think its awesome. I'm not sure how many people this will target, but if there is a large sub continent community i the US, as well as English and South Africans, there will be a decent level of exposure. Though not probably well know in ...

Re: 29 years of collecting Valiant...
The 29th year of Valiant brought us a legit Hollywood movie of a Valiant character. That has to count for something even if a pandemic blew the wind out of it's sails. Christopher Reeve arrived for D.C. in year 40. Back then he was Christopher walkin'! I feel disappointed in myself that i found thi...

Re: Bad Idea launch slate revealed
I'm not sure if this has been asked before, but is Bad Idea going to be a shared universe? Dinesh said something on Facebook to the effect of, "No one said it's NOT going to be a shared universe." And then there's this from the first article in Dinesh's post at the top of the page: That’s where the...

Re: Nothing to see here
Can someone help me with pronouncing David Lapham surname, please.
I've always thought it was pronounce Layp-hem.
But i've heard it pronounced recently as Lap-ham, La-fem and Lay-fam.
It's only a small thing, but i'd like to make sure i pronounce it properly.

I hope the prices do come down, as the only comic book in Australia that will sell Bad Idea comics only received one copy, which is a promotional copy they aren't going to sell.

Thanks for posting. I'm sad to see so few books. X-O 2 - Looks like they will have a 1:25 variant. HW2 Deluxe - This is really nice to have. I note that they included HW2 0. I can't recall, but I thought that wasn't to be in the final collection as you had to mail away for it. It was one of those s...

Who the heck is Ashoka Tano? Ahsoka Tano was Anakin Skywalker’s padawan during the Clone Wars. She appeared originally and primarily in the Clone Wars tv series, as well as some appearances in Star Wars: Rebels, and is rumored/assumed to be appearing for the first time in live action in season 2 of...

Wow, I just don't understand how they could shake up such a perennial household name like Ninjak! Doesn't Valiant realize that hordes of die-hard Ninjak fans from all walks of life, all across the globe will descend on their offices with pitchforks and torches if they don't treat this, the gold sta...

I just posted about how I actually liked the teaser image in another thread then came here and saw that there were pages released too and now I'm down on the comic again. The pages look like a 2nd tier crossgen book by way of the low rate IDW look. And you know a comic is in trouble when the first ...

Katie Hopkins is one of the few public figures who will speak out about controversial issues that the MSM won’t touch as it’s not PC. If you think what she says isn’t real then do some research. Start with Rotherham and go from there. Not something for discussion on this board as it’s too horrendou...

You worship at the alter of Saint Dysart too. It would be cool to discuss his evolution as a creator from Unknown Soldier to Harbinger to Goodnight Paradise, but I’d prefer to do that on a different thread or with PMs since you seem to be more interested in showmanship and grandstanding on this one...
