they still have non-membership in their pricing. non-member is $18 member is $16 for modern. Anything less than 10 comics it's best to go non-membership With only a $2 savings, why not stay a non-member? I would guess at around a $20 savings (10 comics), it would be worth being a member. Re: Bloodshot #1 (2012) 1:50 variant not as rare as thought.

There wasn't one comic store in my area that bought monthly 50 Valiant comics in 2012. I would guess that goes for half the stores in North America. So that 1:50 quote may actually be high unless Valiant prints them by total sales and keeps unqualified store ones for later. Can a store get more than...

Re: CGC announces modified new holder 6/24/2016 (add inner w

Hmm, 18 months??? Well, now I am stuck! Sept I will be going to a Con and Matt Kindt will be there. Me being just a Noob, should I stay away from CGC? Go CBCS? I will have him sign 4001AD 1-4 1:100 and Divinity II #1 1:80. Not to muck up or steal the thread, but any and all help/advice would be gre...

Re: CGC announces modified new holder 6/24/2016 (add inner w

This thread is under Valiant's CGC/CBCS forum. So I think it's ok to talk about this within this section. Where else would you talk about it. Especially sense CGC site poofs threads. If not here, then many Valiant collectors that don't visit CGC site may not know about case problem. Valiant collecto...

Re: CGC announces modified new holder 6/24/2016 (add inner w

Week or two does nothing to prove new cases especially sense it takes months to get comics back or problems to show up some times. There are already graded books at CGC being encapsulated as of the date they started using the new inner wells, those will likely only take a week to be shipped out to ...

Re: CGC announces modified new holder 6/24/2016 (add inner w

I'd wait on the Bloodshot #0 (Platinum Error) or any valuable comic sending to CGC for at least 3 months. Week or two does nothing to prove new cases especially sense it takes months to get comics back or problems to show up some times. If there are problems or this is just a stop-gate, "which ...

Re: CGC announces modified new holder 6/24/2016 (add inner w

In layman terms... It was damaging your expensive comics. We're sorry. We *SQUEE* up. Please forgive us. +1 Definitely should have been at the top of their announcement. Too late in my book, but for others an apologies can go a long way. What are the odds the customer ever gets an apology from CGC ...

Re: CGC sinking like the Titanic

And CGC drops the mic.. CGC mic drop? NOT Proves CGC's been lying to their customers about damages to comics. Proves that squishing a comic is a bad idea. Proves that they've been lying that they could not go back to an inner well. Proves that the customers were/are right and CGC just don't w...

Re: CGC sinking like the Titanic

My last post was stream of consciousness, sorry for it lacking a little. Bottom-line is if business is fair, CGC will go out of business and as collectors we won't miss a beat and just go to CBCS. I don't know if CGC took us for granted or is incompetent or both. CBCS was their equal minus time und...

Bloodshot Reborn #10 B&W LaRosa worth?

I'd like one. What's a RAW copy of Bloodshot Reborn #10 Sketch Variant 1:50 Lewis LaRosa worth nowadays.

9.8 candidate: $?
9.6: $?
9.4 $?
9.2 $?

Thanks, MJ

Re: CGC sinking like the Titanic

You might be right. I've only been slabing for a year so I don't have a long loyalty relationship with any grading company. All I heard when starting out is CGC is the best. My short experience with the three grading companies puts CGC last not first in customer relations and case design "new&q...

CGC sinking like the Titanic

Can't believe CGC is ignoring new case problems and instead deleting any thread that suggests a problem with them. CGC is sticking their fingers in their ears and going bla bla bla. I will never again buy a new CGC case only old and CBCS is getting my money from now on.

Re: does this look like a BWS sig

thanks for replies. I'm only guessing that its BWS signature. Perlin has also signed it twice "once on the inside". The closest match that I found was also on a solar 10 9.4 CBCS red label and it looks close but on two lines "reason I thought it's BWS sig". I've added the Perlin ...
