I don't know if this would be classified as a steal, or a best deal or not. I will say I LOVE the art work, especially considering there are only a few varied views of War Mothers face. There is nothing special about the comic, just a plain "Book of Death" #1, but the art work is amazing! ...

I think that is exactly what Valiant is trying to do, lure some of the new age nerds ...I think they are trying to bring in even more females. While at ECCC, I talked to a few ladies that were waiting in line to get Jody's to sign a comic. Of the 4 I talked to, all were younger than 30, all enjoyed...

I've not been that struck on Faith since the start, but the whole arc's been fairly enjoyable on a no-brain-needed kind of level. Definitely irritated by the constant pop/nerd culture references though. Sure, Faith's a book 'by nerds - for nerds', but fairly constant narrations like 'just levelled ...

This was one of the big things that got me interested in Valiant (that and a cool "Nerd Boss" at ECCC). Really looking forward to these!!
