I was trying to positive about something I gave a chance while also being honest about it. Clearly this is the wrong place. Got it.

Re: Ninjak Vs is finally out!!

I'm not really interested in crapping on this, because I knew it is not for me, but I didn't really enjoy it. It feels like a CW show to me, which i guess a lot of people enjoy so good for the production, they did a lot with what must have been a little. Seems kind of funny to me to try to judge th...

I love this book, it's perfect. I don't much care why they chose all these various characters, I hope there is a cool in-story reason but even if not I'll still love it. I hope the Mexicans clone the dragon-guy Lilt, or that Quartz shows up, I'd like to see more of the Armor Hunters. grendeljd , I e...

Diversity is great, I'm a white dude and I find white dudes played out. Most the time people complain about diversity, or "PC culture", or "SJWs", or "politics in comics" they usually just want people to shut up about opinions they don't like or subjects don't want to ...

I don't think Generation Zero is waiting in line :? I was specifically waiting for this comment. Generation Zero isn't really in line. Generation Zero is deader than disco. The thing is it's still an IP. Valiant still has the trademark for Generation Zero. I included it on the list for the s...

Re: Bloodshot: Salvation #7 Discussion

It's cool that they took an artsy risk but I didn't enjoy the book. It'll be an interesting section of a TPB but I'm not sure that anything that happened mattered. I get the feeling that if they skipped to the last page in the trade nothing would be missing from the story. It makes me wonder if this...

Eric Heisserer has webbed toes because he is part duck, also he only eats grapes. Read between the lines of his twitter and you'll see he makes it pretty clear.

Re: X-O Manowar #12 Discussion

I have a bigger issue with Hesnid's sword being organic than Shanhara being inorganic. In issue 8 Shanhara says she can't cross the barrier but with enough time she could disable it. Hesnid's sword thing though? Looks metal, if it's supposed to be organic it would cooler to have made it look bone. I...

Re: X-O Manowar #12 Discussion

Every time the art changes I think I don't like it at first then realize I really like it. This art really makes the Bounty Hunters and other Gorins feel really distinct to me, I love it. I was just assuming Baz-L freed Shanhara, but I do think there is more to Shanhara eating Bat that we see now. I...

Re: Joshua Dysart's last story of Harada is getting released

I can't see why a three year story gap makes sense for marketing, sales, or storytelling, especially when we were already told it will be 2018. The gap makes sense, imo, because DMG are tying up this story with the view to farming it for use as a movie property afterwards. Maybe, but if what better...

Re: Diggle plans 2 yr journey into the Deadside

Lately there’s been a vocal minority of comics “fans” loudly demanding that their entertainment be devoid of any and all sociopolitical relevance (as if Captain America or the X-Men or Black Panther never carried any kind of subtextual significance), and I’m not really interested in pandering to th...

Re: Joshua Dysart's last story of Harada is getting released

I know I'm going to love this, but we've been hearing that Dysart will be back for almost 2 years and now the announcement is a mini series in another year. That is disappointing, I can't see why a three year story gap makes sense for marketing, sales, or storytelling, especially when we were alread...

Wait, maybe I'm wrong here, but wasn't the sniper just shooting through the worm hole to open it up? When it fired through the worm hole, it caught/popped those vision bubbles and directed the bullet towards the Observer. Of course, the observer saw this, and did what he needed to ensure all of his...

Re: To all those saying they are thinking of quitting Valian

However, I basically stopped buying Valiant months a couple years back when initial titles began getting cancelled. I just can't support the mini-series nor constant reboot method of publishing anymore. I still buy the Deluxe editions though, because the uniformity helps keep my interest. It drives...

I'm really enjoying this book, and i dont have any trouble following the time jumping or the plot so far, but no doubt it will be easier to read in trade. "Eat literally my entire butt" made me genuinly laugh out loud.

I'm not sure how i feel about this series, i don't think any of this holds up to the original Divinity mini. It feels like diminishing returns since Divinity I, i expected to love this but i just didn't. I love the man-made-a-god on earth story, loved Divinity in Imperium and loved the hints at the ...
