Re: Catching Up
Since the last name of the "Bayou Cannibals" in Shadowman Vol. 1 #6 was not spoken in dialogue (if it had I would have found it when I wrote the original Wikia), in my head canon the cannibal family in Punk Mambo #0 is a reimagined version of those characters, even if their first names don't ...

What did you think of it?
I wish it had been more focused on the reveal that she is an Anni-Padda rather than left that for infodump at the end.
She really didn't come off as the protagonist of the mini-series, that role went to the scientist looking for the armor. And the connection between ...

I liked the links to previous Ninjak, Roku and KI-6: Killers books. Not sure about Roku having Brand of the Blue Moth though. Look forward to where this leads to in the future.

Re: Ninjak Vs Roku #1-#3
Thanks for sharing! I've really been enjoying this series! At the risk of sounding like a broken record after commenting on Reddit, I'll just say that I'm loving the connections to the past, like the monks, the Killers, the Jonin, Marybeth, etc.
I agree. For me, this was one of the better ...

Re: Resurgence of the VALIANT Universe
Have they stopped putting books in stores all together? Did they announce that?
Supposedly we'll see comics in stores again at some point, but 'Bad Idea 2 Pt. 1' ended in March 2023 .
They did release Inebrio Horsefeathers (one-shot) last November and Destroyer (another one-shot) in ...

XO Manowar Unconquered #5 In The UK
I received XO Manowar Unconquered #6 from Forbidden Planet a couple of weeks ago, but haven't received #5.
When i look at my order status for #5, it says 'awaiting stock'.
Just seeing if anyone else in the UK is in the same boat please? As i'm not sure if this is something i need to chase up or not ...

Re: New May 2024 Releases announced
Very promising! Looks like they've adapted to the feedback and want to build some momentum.
Liking the reduced page count, good to see that they're introducing more new titles as well - that are trying to keep with continuity.
Just hope that these stories are on point now. If so, by the summer i'd ...

Re: New Valiant/Alien Releases: X-O Book One & Ninjak Superkillers Book One
I've not read any X-O series before Unconquered, so can't compare to other volumes - but i've been really enjoying this series and #4 continues to deliver.
Is one of my favourite superhero comics, that i'm currently reading.

Also not feeling it. Still nostalgic over early Valiant (which right now is what is mainly discussed here), but not even Dinesh found that magic again. Hope Alien can find something similar. If they do - let me know.

Are pirated comics actually bootlegs?
Not cool, Dude. Your IP theft cannot be abided.
Have to agree. There is no justification for theft. You can't say that you are in the right because the comic is bad. Quality has nothing to do with theft. Ashamed for you and sorry for Alien books.
I'm ...

It’s shame they have made that decision, but i understand why.
It would of been nice to allow their customers to get involved in BI promotions though.
On another note, i hope you are ok? Seen in another post, that you mentioned you have been going through some difficult moments.

Re: Distribution problems in UK for BadIdea, any problems elsewhere?
Forbidden Planet are not listing online yet and i’m contemplating going to my local FP store this Wednesday 7th. But after my local store having no knowledge of promotion last time i tried to pre-order the Final 5 and be one of the first for a pin / sticker, i’m not sure it’s worth making the effort ...
