Re: Undervalued Gems
Not sure it this has been mentioned but I've long thought 2000AD #2 is criminally undervalued. If this was normal comic sized and CGC would put a slab on it it would sell for much much more than it does. Tough book to find in any grade. Still waiting for the Dredd tv show, maybe that'll bring some ...

I would say 2000 AD #2-1st Judge Dredd, and Warrior Magazine #1 (1st Moore Miracleman/V for Vendetta).

I know not comic related, but I have been focusing on loose complete Vintage Star Wars loose figures, like Lili Ledy, Takara (C-3PO and R2), Glasslite, etc.

I would say Vintage Magnus #1-4, Archer and Armstrong Gold #0, and Magnus #11.

Re: Undervalued Gems
It's not that the art is worth more or that slabs are worth more or that real estate is worth more or that the stock market it worth more. It is that cash (pick your currency) is worth less so asset values are ballooning. The Fed, BoJ, ECB, etc are printing money like mad. Unfortunately only a very...

Re: Discuss Hard To Find Or Currently Hot Comics Of Any Era
There are more than 500 hard core Spawn collectors. Strangely, only about 200 of them know about Spawn #1 newsstand. What do you mean? It was sort of a "back-of-the-envelope" thought that if a new variant sells for $710 then the Spawn #1 newsstand selling for around 40% of that pric...

Generally they are softer by Age, starting from Golden Age and up, look at 9.4 GA or SA book and then compared to CA or MA, crazy.

Re: How to sell Magic cards
Wheel of Fortune used to be a $5 to $10 card for nearly 20 years and then it jumped and its between $300 to $400. There is common stuff worth money in lots, like 4x Priests of Tatania from Urza's Saga. They are commons and playsets sell from $30 to $40.

There is a huge stash of CGC 9.8's on comiclink right now 12 copies, wonder if it was from one consignor.

Some cards from that time are worth staggering money Gaea's cradle as example. I would go to card kingdom and check their prices, easier than ebay as you can search by set. If you want pm, me, I can give you my cell number and give a list to cut down on the time for you looking through stuff.

Sometimes they do not upcharge you. A few years ago I sent in multiple Harbinger #1's and 3 or 4 came back at 9.8 and they did not charge me the higher price tier fee.

You could try David Michael Beck, he did some nice painted covers on the Image Joe run in the early 2000's. Here is a link to his art dealer:

My interest wained about a year after relaunch, the constant never ending amount of variants made it nearly impossible to keep up, as much a I would have liked too.

Re: The Bloodshot movie...what would have happened
I think the budget was rather high considering Valiant is not a household name. I think more traditional effects could have been used, and a cheaper up and coming star could have been cast in the main role. I'm not trying to *SQUEE* on the movie, as I do like it, just my thoughts.

Assuming the seller knew it was the only 9.8, you think they would have put it up for a buy it now to control the total amount.

Best Way to Ship Multiple CGC Books
Hey guys, going to be selling some sets of CGC books and I've never had to ship mutiple in one box. What is the safest, most economical way? Any odd priority boxes that I can use?

I am surprised Saga hasn't been submitted in a higher quantity. I remember you being able to buy very large quantities of it on eBay when or right before it was released from a number of sellers. I wonder how many of them still have hundreds if not thousands of copies.

A lot of people have mentioned Mile High and Lone Star but has anyone used NewKadia? I've used them a lot over the years, only about 2 hours from where I live, but they do not have a storefront you can visit. They have IMHO better customer service, better grading, better shipping, shipping fees and ...

Re: Dan DiDio Ousted From DC Comics
Is Geoff Johns still a creative force there? He might not be bad as publisher or they should try and get Karen Burger back. Why they ever left her leave is beyond me.
