Re: X-O Manowar #43

I was a good bit confused as well about that "working as a duo" phrasing. That seemed wholly unnecessary after time together on UNITY. Yeah, a somewhat force effort to remind readers of 2012. The Armorines was a nice touch. A very gentle almost under the radar re-introduction of what is l...

I like the brief reference to The Valiant mini:

"Had the two agents ever worked together before?"

"In a...limited capacity."

Re: X-O Manowar #41 Discussion

No worries, it is just a frustration that thanks to what I regard as a crass gimmick by VEI, all my BoD reading has been waiting for LotG soince I am avoiding all BoD and LotG threads for fear of spoilers - the downside is that knowledge of connectedness or otherwise is missed by me (and any others...

Re: Ninjak #5 Discussion

Anyone else notice the state of Kannon at the end of the story? His left arm is explicitly gone, and it looks like all his limb were removed. He had scars across his eyes, and we don't actually see his eyes. I'm guessing he's been blinded. Nasty, nasty stuff there. It's almost hard to see Ninjak do...

What is "clickbait"? Is that where you go to a site and have to click a million times to see each # in the list? If so, it's not like that. You just scroll through all 103.

"Comics Every Man Should Read"

Apologies if this has been posted before. Interesting list. Nice to see Harbinger (VEI) make the list. #86

FCBD at Comic Bug in Culver City. Actually, they held it at the Teen Center next door. They had a lot going on there. But I only managed to get one pick of me and Dysart. http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h219/bribridog/Valiant%20Logos/2015-05-02%20015_zpsd0gfxolv.jpg James Asmus and Andrew Robinson...

Nice! Great job. Glad the motion comic worked out!!

Doesn't the handbook come out on an upcoming Wednesday? I didn't think it was an FCBD book, but I may be mistaken.

Re: Psiot Activation

I'm gonna say it was the A bomb that activated Harada. Harbinger #0 was essentially him abusing his powers (in a way that he doesn't anymore) because he was young and had just gotten them (like how Pete initially used his). I don't really remember Bleeding Monk #0 very well (and I didn't understand...

Psiot Activation

I'm pretty sure this has been discussed in previous threads, but I seek a better understanding. Based on the early issues of Harbinger, there are only three known born-activated psiots in the world: Peter Darpan Harada Peter and Darpan have been shown using their powers as infants, but I seem to rec...

Re: Bloodshot #24 Discussion

I really loved this issue as well! My only beef was some confusion about when it was taking place. As a matter of fact, I'm STILL not sure when it took place... The first panel says, "Kiev, Ukraine. 2000 A.D." This was a great read. The #1 thing I liked best was that it is a fully contain...

Re: My Freehand-Painted Bloodshot Chucks arrived!

I would have thought BLOODSHOT got #1 :) These are very nice. Available in Sizes 6 to 14. Chuck Taylors costs around $29.99. So paying $230 to get these hand painted and limited to 30 sounds just about right at $260. Mag probably also has to pay licensing for these. Some of the other licenses are u...

Nope... Renegades has 6-10. Harbinger Wars has 0, 11-14. And unfortunately that 0 issue is not included in the Harbinger Wars HC.
The Harbinger Deluxe HC includes issues 0-14.

Yeah, guided view is great. Not only does it keep you from reading ahead, but it also helps reading in the correct order. I understand it's the job of the creators to lead you to the next bubble, but sometimes the eye wanders and reads them out of order. I buy the books digitally and read with guide...
