Re: Re:

Dragon mode from Magnus 8/Rai 4 flipbook I'm pretty sure was the first 2 page spread in Valiant. Oh, didn't realize that. The building explosion is from Harbinger? Which issue? Armorines/Hard Corps is by Mike Leeke? Great Spider Alien battle scene. It's from Harbinger 0 and the Armorines art should...

Re: Top Cow

Crossovers are much better if they actually count and are integrated into the ongoing story. That is one part of why I like the Predator vs Magnus story (apart from it simply being a good story). It both fits the continuity established for Magnus and Valiant generally and is reused later on (the XO...

There's that, but there's also the ones where two characters that fit well together make a good story. Like Predator vs Magnus.

That was mostly just me digging through the archives a bit  Some really fun stuff from the 2004-08 era. It's a shame all the 01-04 archives are gone, I feel like everyone was on top of their game at that point. Good idea, there are lots of threads that are worth revisiting, even with so much l...

'if in 1996 they would have just gone back to the core characters, pre-Unity principles (real-time passage, etc.) focus on writing and cohesion, etc. Then the readers would have come back. Readers like us would have come back, not sure if it could have brought the mass market that Acclaim wanted. I...

Re: Best Case Scenario...

If something happens that disrupts the events of Rai #0, then it's no longer VH 1 because those events are indisputable. Rai #0 catalogued the events that took place between Solar's time and Magnus' time. None of them can be disrupted or ignored. The sad truth is that Magnus is not coming back, so ...

Good example.
That's how it could play out, but is it what people want to see?
If it's very well made, then it'd be ok by me.

...creators like Layton, Hall, etc. should be given the chance to wrap up the stories of the VH 1 iterations of X-O Manowar and Shadowman (as detailed in Rai #0) in either mini-series form (like Q2) or graphic novels. The true death of Shadowman need not be a massive line-wide crossover. It can be ...

Re: VH 1 Can Never Come Back

If whoever publishes VALIANT is going to do that, they might as well reboot so they can have both the original characters in their prime and those new concepts. While I agree with the post, I think it's worth pointing out that "might as well" is not the same as "should instead"....

In a Corporate Wars event, each different corporation involve in the conflict could be used to reflect a real-world corporation, like X, Meta, Amazon, Wal-Mart, the Trump Organization, etc. Corporate states like in Rai 0 indicate corporations that can control governmental aspects of life. Re: Corporate Wars

Thinking about it, it occurred to me that it would be cool if they did the VEI version of the corporate wars alluded to in Rai #0 (which would be different from the Harbinger Wars). They lead to the Harbinger wars so it would be like a prequel. One that takes place right now since it says that the ...

That suggests multiple timelines or at least that the way the 90's and Unity happened for future Gil was different. Doesn't he mention at some point that he remembers things happening differently? Yes, "It didn't go like this. It's all different. Worse". And then there's that scar that fu...

who would you say is stronger - Magnus or Gilad? Just saw some comparisons in Unity. In Archer & Armstrong 1 Albert seems to rank Magnus only slightly above Gilad. Asked who (except for Aram) can knock a robot's block off he answers: "Magnus, Rai, X-O... probably Gilad, too". In Rai 7...
