I saw both of these TPB's in a box marked $5 each at a comic book store this past weekend.
Man , I'm tempted to go buy them and lis them on ebay!

I've had my collection stored in mylar and acid free boards for 12 yrs. Should I start thinking about changing to fresh bags and boards? Or is the life expectancy longer for mylar.

So, basically Birthquake was Acclaims way of speeding up the end of the original Valiant universe so they can start there own universe using Valiant titles but recreating the origins of each character to best promote ther video games

When my wife gave me a hard time about the "boxes of comics in the closet" that I don't read anymore, I gave her a hard time about the "boxes of shoes" she doesn't wear anymore in her closet

Can we look a Birthquake as the death of Valiant comics. When I saw and read what they were going to do to the characters, I knew it was over.
Did anyone else know, or have the same feeling as I did?

You never read these books? :o These are some of Valiant's best work. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for having books graded but come on. The true art is the story inside. What would have made Birthquake realy work for me would be instead of wiping the slate clean , jump ahead , explore what happend in Rai #0. Like the Harbinger Wars , Aric's death, what happened to the X-O suit.

So, whats the question?
