Re: Valiant Kickstarter….does anyone care?

This is cool, but I'll never understand how the Valiant I.P. holders have failed time after time to deliver on a solid action figure line. It would be huge. Surprised we are doing a game over that.....

That's really neat... I'm torn between the Starbrand cover and the Crusaders cover.

Re: Ebay alternative

Over the past 20 months or so, I’ve sold more on eBay than all my previous 15 years, and by far! FB groups have been okay, but I only post stuff there that are big lots I’m looking to dump, or big runs that are cost prohibitive to ship, or big books with time payments attached. Despite its high fee...

Re: Ebay alternative

I think the real downside to shortboxed is that you have to send them your slabs, almost like an amazon shipping partner/seller.

Re: Ebay alternative

I've been doing pretty well on eBay since setting up a valid store there about a year ago. Traffic is good and word of mouth has been terrific for me, which I'm thankful for. The best model? Don't feed anybody bull$#!( about how great they are or how great the fandom is or other nonsense about how y...

I remember you discussing this some time back too... Really happy for you getting it back, brother.

Now just go through each book and make sure that she didn't cut them inside the pages with scissors and put them back in the bags... :kidaround:

Re: DBS's 100% CONFIRMED "Rare" Print Run Info

Greg and I were just talking about this thread for a while, giving me cause to look at it. In many ways this is such cool info, but in others it's like - God help the general collector who gets interested enough to hunt these down. :!: In some ways it's fun, but in others this was the kind of releas...

Spidey Super Stories 11 has really taken off recently.
I saw that too. Isn't that nuts? And guess what? Marvel Boy is in it - LMAO I didn't find out about that until after this book popped. So now I want it for collector reasons while everyone else wants it for spec. :!:

I've just finished and it's incredible. I thought BWS was a great artist but he is an even better writer. I would go for the signed edition. You won't regret it, once you read it you will cherish having a signed copy. If you don't I'll happily buy it from you for what you paid! It's crazy the amoun...

I’m on the fence as well. Would love to hear if others liked it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Me too, but it's not for lack of faith for a BWS project, but more like the price point is a little high for the signed trade. I'd like to get a copy, but we will see. Maybe it's not "high". Maybe it...

Re: Heather Antos leaving Valiant for IDW!

Addition by subtraction. Looking at her twitter you can barely tell she's even in comics. The comics industry truly is amazing for continuing to hire people that take their previous work or company to new lows. Not something exclusive to just Antos, but it's amazing And then they talk about how har...

Re: Undervalued Gems

I think there's a more accurate market observation to be made about what's going on. For example, it's not that price on original art is exploding, but rather we are seeing high dollar pieces come to market that are normally locked up in collections. People are moving collectibles to generate cash f...

Re: Marvel Series 1 cards

Pardon my ignorance but how does that work? Do I need a printer? There are set rules and a maximum envelope size, and to qualify I think cards need to be under a certain dollar threshold. When you do your shipping through eBay's shipping system, choose the "eBay Standard Card Mailer" option (it say...

Re: Marvel Series 1 cards

So what is the best, cheapest, most efficient way to ship these if I sell on eBay? Is it OK to just pop them in a top loader and send in a regular envelope or does it have to be in something sturdier or a bubble mailer? Last time I used the bubble mailer but those were over $4 to ship. Same thing f...

Sell, sell, sell. Once submissions catch up to demand and those 10s become more and more frequent, assuming PSA will ever catch up, these are going to bottom out quickly. They were available in every comic store, gas station, and department store I frequented as a child. Hell, even a locally owned ...
