I thought Clarke's third law was "never remove your glasses in front of Lois"....

And the blabbering and circular logic continues... But where it used to the mania on a ratio of 15:100 maniacs to normal and relatively silent majority while cities burned, now it's down to the three or four remnant posters who simply can't see or explain - gasp- the world outside their window. :lol...

Re: Serious question...what did Heather Antos actually *do*?

The role in the decline of the books for elements of virtue-signaling and SJW themes was obvious even during their publication, but I think more importantly it is very telling that there are people here who dug-in on their defense of that and denial of these themes as "problems" yet now w...

Re: What comics are you reading now?

The once-again recently relaunched Incredible Hulk has actually hooked me in again - the return to a darker horror-tinged vibe is right up my alley and I was already a big fan of Nic Kleins art, which has been a treat on the title. It feels like a proper spiritual successor to the Immortal Hulk run...

Mental-Algebra Problem: They tried it through Social Justice agenda publishing. And it failed. Re: Just scored these beauties

Wow those are awesome! So many pages of amazing art from that first two years of the original Valiant. It was a series of guys who eschewed the "image Comics art style" and just made these gorgeous books with compelling pages. There is just something about that era of Valiant that delivere...

Re: Wizard & Hero Illustrated

There isn’t an equivalent of Wizard today, in my view. Agreed 100%. It was a perfect storm - you had Wizard, Valiant and Image which were all new. Wizard went the "access media" route and Valiant and Image needed exposure so they gave Wizard access. The closest thing to Wizard nowadays is...

Re: DBS's 100% CONFIRMED "Rare" Print Run Info

My understanding is that much of Shadowman vol 5 was made in low-print run which declined significantly over the course of the series (Diggle's book). Is that true?

BBTS Marvel Action Hour U.S. Agent

I thought a few of you guys would find this interesting. There was a period where this was, hands down, the hardest-to-find Marvel Action Hour figure that saw release (the Wave 5 Prototypes are another story entirely). This toy was a late-line release and didn't see much U.S. distribution (mostly on...

That issue is a great highlight of the Quasar run - I remember reading it after pulling it off the racks as a newsstand back in the day. It was just unreal that Gruenwald went there. It was awesome. Trivia time! It also wasn't the first time that the Flash was hinted at appearing in a Marvel Comic, ...

Re: What comics are you reading now?

I would love to be captivated by a comic again........ I haven't read a book from my order in probably since November of last year and the only two books I was truly looking forward to had monkey wrenches - I missed an issue or two of Silvestri's Batman Joker mini, and Frank Miller's Ronin 2 has com...
