I'm looking for
Turok Dinosaur Hunter #41 and #43 to complete my VH1 Turok collection.

My disappointment with Sting (post Harbinger 25) (Spoilers)
I'm slowly making my way through the Valiant VH1 universe. My favorite Valiant character besides Jack Boniface is Peter Stancheck (Sting). In the Harbinger series, he was a very interesting and relatable character who may or may not be gay. I always wanted to know what became of Peter Stancheck afte...

Ivar and the Time Arcs
Was there ever an explanation given as to why the rules of the time arc seemed to change? When Ivar was introduced in Archer and Armstrong, a bloke from England was sucked into the time arc instead of Ivar. He then ended up at the Stonehenge. Lots of normal people during different time periods had b...

I really did not care for the Yearbook very much since it did not have the feel of the Eternal Warrior that I am used to. It is hard to see Gilad as a warmonger and murderer. The story seemed confusing and the biggest drawback for me is that the artwork wasn't as "clean" as the other Valiant titles ...

I'll have my answer for this question in a couple of months. I'm reading post-unity Valiants for the first time and so far think that the quality of story telling is still very strong at this point. I'm up to around Magnus 21 in the Valiant timeline. Only Hardcorps and Bloodshot have been introduced...

Having read the proposed ending to U2000 #6 I agree that it would have undone all that made VALIANT great it seems. In an earlier post thread (somewhere) I asked if this was something JS was doing becasue he had to (told to do so by bosses) or if there was a revenge motive involved, much as you sug...

I love Unblessed's summary of the entire Valiant universe, Acclaim, and the Unity 2000 story written by Jim Shooter. Purely awesome and to the point :D The "magic ink" refers to the developing plot in the unwritten Unity 2000 issue #6. There is an Adobe PDF of Jim Shooter's script that I read before...

In the June 1994 Defiant comics, Jim shooter writes: ... "Several years later, when Valiant was stolen out from under me, many people expressed their condolences, their support, their outrage - but as a practical matter the industry turned a blind eye. I wasn't surprised. Valiant was a big money mak...

You make a really strong and convincing argument for Solar. I'll play devil's advocate and argue for Magnus. 1) Magnus is the first Valiant superhero book 2) There is tight continuity throughout (also for Solar). 3) First book to introduce the idea of coupons for a Zero issue book (good and bad idea...

Daredevil shows up because Superboy punched the Scarlet Witch, who fell into Alexandre Darque in Unity 2000 #7 Ahhh, so that's how Unity 2000 is supposed to end. Daredevil, having entered the DC universe, witnesses Superboy punch the Scarlet Witch. She falls into the multiverse mess that Solar trie...

If I had seen this auction a couple of months ago, I would have jumped on it in a heart beat, and I'm from Canada so the shipping alone is $165.00 US. Instead, I've placed larger orders with different sellers. Shipping to Canada from the US is expensive to begin with. The shipping is in 75% of the c...

As for Unity 2000. I really enjoyed reading the plot for issues 1 through 6, but was disappointed by the ending. The reason I started this post. The Valiant VH1 universe should not have been discarded as if it never should have existed. Of course, Unity 2000 #4, #5, and #6 were never officially publ...

Thanks "Schmakt" and "TimeWillTell" I'm glad at least the very end of Unity 2000 #6 did not happen. Thanks for the link to the older thread. How was Unity 2000 supposed to unite the Valiant universes?
*** WARNING *** Possible spoilers. # # # I've just finished reading Jim Shooter's outline of Unity 2000 (Issues 1 through 6) and was shocked by how it would have ended. Essentially, Jim treated the VH3 universe ("Prime" valiant characters) as the real Valiant universe. In the end, the VH1 Solar coll...

If the new valiant universe is going to be 85% artwork and 15% text to drive a very simple plot then I won't be buying them. If the new valiant universe is as good as the Pre-Unity Jim Shooter/ Bob Layton greatness or even up to and slightly past the chaos effect, then I'll support the company as be...

Personally, I'm somewhat "scared' and very hesitant to start reading the VH2 or VH3 stuff. I don't like the idea of re-imagining characters that I've grown to like and respect. For fun, I picked up Shadowman Vol 2 #1 and did not like it. Would you like reading a comic that goes "I call on the power ...
