Does anyone know if Loveless is any good?

It's a title that looks good, but I don't want to gamble $3-4 bucks without a recommendation.

I didn't care for the destruction of the suit because of all the journeys that Aric and Shan-hara had from the beginning. I also didn't buy the look of the new armor when it merged with Paul. Shan-hara had to evolve to the modern look over 2,000 years as Aric was in stasis. When Pol-Bek-Hara (new ar...

All Star #2 was a good read, and Lois was looking very good. I am looking forward to seeing Lois as Superwoman in the next issue.

In Ft. Bragg, NC, the prices were rather high when Valiant exploded, but once again there was the scarcity of issues in Ft. Bragg that led to it. A lot of new shops opened during the early 90's with all of the big events going with Superman, Batman, Lady Death, etc. Just like everyone has already sa...

I thought #4 was pretty good, it certainly explained and showed how all of the various mini-series tied in with the big event. It makes me want to go out and buy those issues on ebay. I certainly like the line where pre-Crisis Luthor mentioned that, "A Luthor and Superman in the same room will alway...

I agree that the Spectre tie-in was not very easy to figure out, but I do know that the "explosion" you are talking about is the rock of eternity that was shattered by the Spectre. I have found that the DC website gives you some info, and of course I have been going to Books-a-Million and reading wh...

I think the idea of the comics on DVD is great. It could free up so much space, for issues one would like to read, but was unwilling to buy in comic form.

That is to bad he is leaving because his stories in that comic are excellent. The new writer will have tough shoes to fill.

I hope it's monthly because it's apparent that Clark is taking charge, and that The Daily Planet will be caught in the battle between Lex and Superman.

ALL STAR SUPERMAN

ALL STAR SUPERMAN #1 is worth checking out if you have not done so already. Grant Morrison has done a great job of getting Lex to being truly evil, and has captured Clark as a perfect bumbling idiot which makes it truly believable as to why no one suspects Clark of being Superman. The addition of so...

The guide is for the speculators that continue to think that comics will make them rich. A comic may be worth lots in the guide, but if no one is willing to pay that amount for the book then it's useless to the seller (unless it's worth something to him). Ebay is great because it allows people to ac...

G.I. Joe got me into the comics scene as well. It would be good if Larry Hama could go to work for Devil's Due. He was the reason for the Marvel series being so good.

GL 169 explains how Kilowog came back. I picked it up the other day--it was allright. One definitely needed to be a regular to follow all that was going on, but it did explain Kilowog's return.
