Re: TOP 10
This is gonna be cool. I loved reading wizard when I was a kid. I loved it when my VALIANT titles were shown love. For you guys out there that were not alive in 91,92,93. VALIANT was the book to have. It was so popular. Those pre-unity titles were on fire and very hard to get when they came out. I ...

Re: Valiant’s Harbinger Wars 2 Moves to Six Issues
EH comments on Twitter: Hey gorgeous monsters, a tiny thread about the current Valiant Comics situation right quick. I think the world of Valiant and the amazing people I’ve worked with during my time there (including Dinesh, Warren Simons, Raul Allen, Patricia Martin, Matt Kindt, and many more). Un...

Re: What video game are you currently playing?
Well, I succumbed to an impulse buy urge (something I was trying to avoid this year... nice job) and bought Monster Hunter World. Holy hell... there is a lot to do in this game. This one may take awhile to finish. Still working on South park and my WWE 2k18 Universe, as well. Shawn Michaels is still...

Thanks for this topic, Ed, and thanks for giving us the insight into Dino's current mindset. It gave a much needed kick in the seat for this fan saddened by the recent turn of events.

Re: Let’s quantify our views on the sale of Valiant
I went with Not Sure Yet, though I don’t know if that really captures my feelings on this. Just feel demoralized. I can’t imagine being done with the books, especially knowing that some have been already planned out for multi-year arcs, but right now I’m less inclined to purchase right away.

Maybe he could reboot Defiant.WrathOfArmstrong wrote:Some of you guys know Dino a bit better, but would you think he'd start his own line of comics or was he Valiant or bust.
I'd follow him elsewhere if he wanted to try his own universe.

Completely agree. There are probably good stories still to be told and movies to be made, but Dinesh was Valiant to me. It won't be the same for me.

Re: what is this?
I am not happy at all. It was always the case that Cuneo & Co would sell - they are a venture capitalist company that invests in entertainment startups - a brief look at their info shows the boards they've sat on and later sold. The worry is that whomever buys will push out the team that made V...

Re: Divinity 3 - Continuity?
Yeah, it becomes tricky when you deal with three beings able to manipulate reality like Divinity. I think it also complicates things that the whole event was dubbed a mass psychosis. So what was real and what wasn’t?? But we do know that Abram was trying to undo what Kazmir had changed, so is it fea...

I've completed 3 of the 4 chapters in Shadow of War... and I think that's as far as I'm going to go. Reason being (and I'll throw up Spoilers for anyone who'd rather not know) that... The story point of the game wraps after Chapter 3. Chapter 4 (i.e. The Shadow Wars) is solely reserved for 10 levels...

That would be awesome! Makes one wonder what kind of deal could be in place to allow them to use the GK3 without a license.

Book of the Month - Going Forward
Hey gang, Just a heads up that I've pulled the plug on the Book of the Month polls. Focusing my energies elsewhere, as well as being less deliberate in my Valiant reading (i.e. still reading everything, just slowing down the buying considerably), so I won't be opening the polls each month anymore. I...

Re: Snagged Almost a Full Set of Classic Quantum and Woody!
I think the first 4 issues of X-O were pretty good, i.e. the ones that had Mark Waid writing and Sean Chen on art. After that....meeeeh... I found the Turok series to be very enjoyable. Bloodshot was pretty great all around, and probably the closest the line got to feeling like old school VH1. His b...

Re: Harbinger Wars 2 #0
That was really good. Great prologue for HW2, and now a painful 5 month wait for the main story to get going. So was the first kid... at first I thought he was just having an encounter with unshaven hippy Peter. But I suspect Peter was using some weird perception filter that affected anyone viewing ...
