Too funny. I just ran across the promo poster for these spoof cards(see "Valiant Trading Cards" thread") today! The poster had Marvel and Image cards as well.... i.e. Childcats, X-Farse, etc. They're pretty funny. How the heck do I attach a pic?!?...haven't figured that one out yet......

Okay, I went over to my friends today. Random Era I cards, so nothing special there. However, I did get some Valiant posters from him. A few of them are pretty cool. Most of them are the types of ads/promos that comics shops would post in their store. None were ever used. Are any of these trade bait...

They lost it for me around Chaos Effect. I just remember some BAD stories between Chaos and Birthquake. I remeber X-O (Wolfbridge Affair) and Hard Corps after Chaos...man those stunk compared to the earlier days.

Are any of the Valiant trading cards worth anything? Are any sets a must haves due to sheer coolness? The reason I ask is that I know somebody with a box of old Valiant trading cards and posters. yeah, i agree. i'm still trying to figure out whether i should fork out the dough for the gold issues. don't think i could ever get away with paying that for a comic. nice issue though.

Amen borther. I only wanted to collect pre-Unity issues when I started up again (I never could get them back in the mid-90s due to price). Now I'm starting to look at all those later issues....I'm thinking up to Chaos Effect now....dare I go beyond?!?

I wouldn't be suprised that there are some VH2 issues better than VH1. I read the last X-O and Eternal Warrior issues...wow...those were painful. I heard Shadowman 43 wasn't so bad...still hunting for that one.

I come in at a definite 6. But hey, I'm just getting back into Valiant and have never read VH2. Please don't make me read them...please, I love VH1.

Stopped buying just before the Chaos affect. All the stories started losing what previously made them so special. I held out on X-O all the way through issue #35. That one sent me over the edge, and that was the last Valiant purchase until...this year!!!
