Re: CGC 9.8 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 sold for $90,000
When more international money comes into the hobby, I believe there will be a few year run on massive prices for the true grails. I’m not surprised. Is the 90K spent better on a fancy car or this book? The book, hands down. Especially if you are an oil sheik. And I love what you said here about int...

Re: CGC 9.8 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 sold for $90,000
Greg. What do you think about that price? Thoughts? I was assuming it would set the all-time record at $40,000 or above. I would have been surprised but not shocked by $50,000. I didn't even entertain the idea it would be $40,000 + $50,000. When more international money comes into the hobby, I beli...

The version of the Bloodshot movie was GREAT.
My daughter also LOVED it.
I saw a rough cut. But it was a complete movie.

Any interesting spoiler-ish things in there? Not sure what you would characterize as spoilerish. Got to see all (most) of the upcoming books. So not sure if they have all been announced yet. And the creative teams were also in there. But There were for sure some spoilerish things on iPhones and such.

Re: Canto by IDW | The next Mouseguard/Bone?
There is some interweb heat on this book. 32 sales on the bay between yesterday and so far today basically 20 to 30 bucks a pop. I'm really curious to see what this thing is going to do when CGC 9.6 and 9.8's start popping up. Don’t you think it’s speculators selling to speculators?? With that much...

Re: The future of comic book collecting
At the root of comic books, is the story aspect. Peeps have always and will always love stories. Every culture has their own stories and catalogs them. Comic books are currently, THE pop culture story. And the last 30ish years (starting with the Batman flick as a “starting point” and Iron Man in 200...

Re: In classic Valiants, where was Armstrong in 4002 AD?
I think technically it is 4020 or thereabouts when we see Armstrong. He was living on Druid's Rock under the name Buzzy. I want to say he was confused as to his identity? I think the best OTV episodes are the two-part Unity episodes. Must listen OTV episodes are: Valiant After Dark Who would win st...

I can also say that Eric “got it”.
He understood what a Valiant fan is.
He understood that our love for the characters and the universe is different than most.
He was super sweet and and a very kind way about himself.
I can also say that he was WAY excited to write Secret Weapons.

OMG! Maybe they're bringing Pete back from where ever the &*^% he's been for the last two years! Just for the record, I was kidding. But I like the idea that perhaps Cronus could be brought back. He has the power to heal others, why not himself? They will reveal that Cronos was Darth Plagueis. ...

Unfortunate no. I had the offer, if I was there I could have gotten a walk on. But there was zero chance I would be allowed to go to South Af by my family. With my lack of immune system, I might not be allowed to even get the required shots. I do treasure the experiences of watching the flick and t...

Where does the Divinity #0 Vans Warped Tour book fit into the list? I saw DBS mention it a few pages ago. No real clue as to print run. You would need to contact Dinesh or whomever might have handled that specific variant at the event. Ed Greenberg was at the event, and had a booth next to Valiant ...
