Re: WTB Birth of the Defiant Universe

I picked one (signed and numbered version) slabbed in the Spring. I am shocked at how much the slabbed versions are going for on Ebay right now.

Re: (Re-)Reading Acclaim

One general acclaim item I am interested about is the Turok TPB advertised (not the acclaim adventure zone issues). Did it ever get released? Besides the Q&W trades that had been published, all other Acclaim trades were only solicited but never released (Solar, Turok, XO). The Turok trade would...

Re: (Re-)Reading Acclaim

Magnus Robot Fighter – The first issue was a bit confusing regarding timelines and it seems like they tried to correct that by retelling the whole first issue in the first few pages of the second. After that it was mostly just a big ol’ pile of fine. The individual issues were engaging enough, but ...

Re: another unseen VH1 item..

I've always been a big VH1 Ninjak fan. I remember getting excited about the series solely from the Quesada/Palmiotti advertisement artwork in Previews, Wizard, etc.

I guess we will see if there is a big Q/P fan out there.

Re: Question VH1 Eternal Warrior Collecting

I personally prefer the flat gold version, and love finding it in the wild. I finally added that one to my collection just recently. Got a CGC 9.6. That's awesome! It's tough to get it in the higher grade. It's one of the few VH1 books I didn't own yet, and one popped up on eBay recently. Pa...

Re: I saw Bloodshot in a BIG HOLLYWOOD MOVIE...from 1999!(aptly)

Wow...way to revive a dead thread..getting bleak around here.. In all my vh1 thinking I never made the connection that nio was the inspiration for neo, at least the name.. I forgot what that comic is about and its not on rco... Nio came out in 1998..early? Matrix in 1999,.. mfers They were in deep ...

Re: Just read Trinity Angels 1-12

Ya those books were eyecandy to an extent. I've got the whole run in the boxes, but honestly I don't know that I ever read a single issue cover-to-cover. I've got so much back reading to do that it's entirely probable that I never will read Trinity Angels all the way through. I just recently replie...

Re: How to sell Magic cards

I have to wonder if Magic had it's day and that day is done given that the current generation of "coming of age" collectors is all-in for Pokemon cards. I've got a few sealed boxes of Magic cards from promotional events. Probably the same boxes that we all have from convention seasons. I ...

From purchasing this book raw, to having it pressed and having it submitted by the Comic Book Presser it has been exciting. Glad to have it in my collection. Now it's time to find that Sec...

1/5 - Very poor book, put this alongside Bloodshot as more examples of the current editors ineptitude in how to run the company from a creative perspective.
With all of the delays in comics, I am impressed you waited for this one.

I am hoping one of those is mine (probably not-as I am waiting for the presser to send to CGC). I got a raw copy and submitted it in mid July to a presser who will submit for me. Book has been pressed and is in the mail to CGC. Looking forward to getting it in December (CGC looks really busy with a...

Re: Re-reading: Eternal Warrior #11

I've always liked this issue. It's such a great issue to give out since it is self-contained. It's gotta be tough being the EW, and seeing everyone you like, love, etc to age and die. You've got to check out The Old Guard on Netflix if you haven't, man. It's based on it's own comic, but in my mind ...

Anyone else reading The Three Jokers? Being in Japan, I have only received the first two issues and am waiting for issue three. The first two issues kept me entertained both had a nice shocker at the end of each issue.

Re: Re-Reading HARD Corps #30

Setting up Heydrich's skull at the bottom of the ocean would have nice to revisit at some in the future. Would Heydrich be able to transfer his conscious (along with his new Omega powers) to another person like Harada did in the future?

It started off with some promise, but the characters never really developed into much and the stories were not exactly stellar.
