I got Marvel at 6, freaked and sold it at 16. :o It went up past 30  and did a 3-2 split, that's why it's down in the 18s now. :? 100 Bullets video game sounds interesting. I used to love the original Turok for N64 that Acclaim put out. The second one wasn't quite as good but the third one was...

I want to refine my list a little bit ... :) Since we're talking about whole runs here, my priorities are a little different. I don't think anyone beats the John Byrne/Chris Claremont X-Men run. The Byrne FF run was awfully good, too, but maybe not quite as good as the Kirby-Lee run. As far as Valia...

I always felt the whole thing came apart right about the time Valiant abandoned the "house art" style, even playing up the change in house ads. Panels got bigger, with less emphasis on stories and characters. It was like Valiant took some of what was wrong with Image and tried to marry it ...

Lobo, 300 was a great read, and the art was astounding. That one spread of all the soldiers sleeping around a campsite with the spears pointing out in every direction is the kind of thing only Frank Miller could pull off. I picked up the series after reading a book called Gates of Fire by Stephen Pr...

$5,000 is too much for me. I might pay $725 for a Jusko Hulk, but I sure wouldn't pay that for a painting of Superman holding a double-barreled phallus gun.

You know something Brother J, I think I remember that little neg-fest you guys got in. I ordered some books from them about the same time. Waited ... waited ... waited. After a while I checked out their feedback to see if anyone else was having problems and noticed a lot of retaliation stuff going o...

I bought a few comics from them this year. It took almost two months, but everything was "as advertised." Their handling charge is all about the $$, surely. Years ago I worked in a video rental store. For new members there was a $2.86 "processing fee." I asked the owner what that...

I design sports pages for the newspaper in Jacksonville, including special sections and stuff. We got the idea to do the front page of our Jaguars section like an old Marvel What If comic last year, and since Don Perlin lives in Jax we asked him if he would do it. It turned out great, and he was a b...

I saw Jusko at a con in Orlando a few years back. For some reason there was no line where he was signing and I had him sign a handful of Marvel Masterpiece cards and chatted him up for a bit.
Nice guy. I couldn't imagine his stuff would go for cheap .. . out of my league anyways.
