What about company validated signature issues? Every previous signatured comic I had seen only had a convention certificate but not one directly issued from the publisher. The whole stamp on them was great. No way to make a fake. Just think if a company would have picked up that idea and started do...

My favorite color is green. And a dark shade at that. Anyhow... The info may or may not run, but whether you guys realize it or not, you're causing a stir that's been noticed by a few people here in completely different circumstances. I personally find it both fascinating and cool that books people...

A key for me would be X-O 65. I will wait for the laughing to stop.......... Ok, in X-O 65 Aric & the armor fully bond. Then the armor seperates itself from Aric, takes the ring from him, and says "ggggree-tingssss, a-rrric da-sssci-aaaa..." The last page says "to be continued&quo...

x-omatic those are some nice deals you picked up. Was it foresight, or did you just really want those Silver Age Marvels? I worked part time in a comic shop right after I started collecting comics. Somehow a was able to get a pulse on what was happening. Somehow it just made sense to trade a $2.00 ...

It is a posting frenzy

I guess we all really missed the boards. Looks like everyone is trying to catch up for the days it was down. I don't think I have seen this much activity since I first joined in Feb 03.

It is a good feeling to have a place on the internet to call home again. :D

x-omatic... ahhh this guy on Ebay, he probably just doesnt know one thing about Valiant comics. BUT, you do have a point. Someone ELSE who does not know much about Valiant (a new collector) may take him for his written word. That is my point. There are some buyers that don't know any different. By ...

I agree that Variants are an important part of Valiant history, and comic history in general. How many other companies rewarded thier readers with a "special" cover for promoting thier company and being a fan? Valiant started it all. Some variants are more than just a gold logo. The EW Gol...

I traded many of my early Valiant when they were hot. I traded Harbinger 1 for a vf/xf copy of Silver Surfer 1 (the old series square bound). So I paid $2.25 or $2.50 for my Silver Surfer 1 as I got the Harbinger for cover price. I traded away almost all my pre unity stuff for Silver Age. I got Iron...
