Same here. I've yet to get one. I'm assuming since they are prestige format there is only 1 cover for each issue instead of endless covers like before?

I completely forgot about the Wizard 17 silver variant. I would think that would be direct only. I can't see any online copies that show a UPC.

I also forgot about Wizard 7 (great cover). eBay does not show any newsstand variants of that issue either.

Maybe it's just 17 and the Dark Book.

I just found that Wizard had both direct and newsstand variants. It wasn't something I ever thought to consider. Wizard 17 has a cover with Bloodshot and Solar on it (along with others in a gatefold). This issue came in a direct polybagged edition with Holly Daye and Santa the Barbarian trading card...

I received mine in great order. All items were included. The holo stickers are pretty awesome. I got a sketch as well of Bloodshot. I’m happy. But, I see I placed my order in October 2021, and just received it in December 2023. That’s a long time.

I look forward to giving the books a shot. I look forward to the next set of material that will be fully under Alien editorial control. We've had some stinkers before, but maybe if folks buy the format and books we'll see better and better talent in the future.

As someone who worked hard to get 9.8s at that time, this is impressive. Well done.

For VEI variants, getting a 9.6 is frankly quite hard.
