Re: Exclusive! New Savage Comic From Valiant!
It’s the new look and feel of Valiant. It’s like the second volume of Faith when it jumped the shark. No Clay Moore. Bummed about that the most. It will probably be like the third Britannia series, where you just wish it away. I’ve always wondered...what does ‘jump the shark’ even mean? Doesn’t it ...

Re: Who has been biggest name star in a Marvel movie? DC?
Add Samuel L Jaskson to the list in Captain America. Stallone is a good addition. You say Ian McCallum was a big name...I can't recall him being a household name. I don't remember what he's in besides XMen. That's my fault I figure Jennifer Lawrence in my opinion was still a rising star when she en...

Who has been biggest name star in a Marvel movie? DC?
I’m not sure Clooney was CLOONEY yet when he was Batman. But Carey and Arnold were big big names at the time. Michael Keaton was pretty big when he was Batman. As was Jack Nicholson as Joker and Michelle Pfiefer as Catwoman. Jennifer Lawrence became JLAW as she was still making XMen movies. Hallie B...

Re: Good news about the Bloodshot movie
I hope I am wrong but I think the opening weekend will be well below expectations. Having lived with the hysteria over the coronavirus for two months here in Asia and watching the USA go into full batsh*t insane mode I figure people will be staying away from theatres. When I watched the new Harley ...

Re: ECCC & Coronavirus
Really hoping SDCC does not get cancelled. I've been trying to get tickets for over a decade, and this is my year! I think the hope is that by summer the worst will have passed. December-March is usually the peak time for Flu. I also suspect all the attention and panic will lead to a vaccination so...

Re: ECCC & Coronavirus
One of the issues with the mortality and infection numbers is people could have had the virus and not have known/reported it because it presents in most cases like a cold or the flu. I’ll admit it makes me want to fly less than I was planning to, especially with a 10-month old baby. I would agree th...

Re: ECCC & Coronavirus
My sister in law is a NPRN and just rolls her eyes at all the media coverage. It’s basically a common cold that, granted, is very dangerous for the elderly, very young, and immunocompromised...as is the flu. All the panic just makes things worse. Quarantining those poor people on that boat was one o...

Re: Official Bloodshot Trailer is here!
I somehow missed any discussion of this getting a PG-13 rating. How the heck is that gonna be true to the comic. I basically wanted to watch this for 2 reasons: 1. Vin Diesel stabbing a dude in the neck with his own broken radius/ulna 2. Eating a full on live cow to replenish nanites. I now don't i...

Re: The Visitor #3 Discussion
The story continues to crawl along at a snails pace. Literally nothing has happened and I could care less about any of the characters (none of whom look remotely Japanese btw...get an artist who can draw more than 3 faces—fat, regular and skinny—please. ). And I think I’ve become less interested in ...

Re: Dr. Tomorrow #1 Discussion
The art is a bit cartoony for the tone and action if the book, but the story/plot was solid enough to keep me interested. Very glad to see Neela and Ank involved. Shouldn’t have a story dealing with time travel without her involved somehow.

The published issue discussions have become pretty sparse. Speaks to the post VEI readership and quality of titles.

Re: VEI vs DMG Valiant: an honest poll
I couldn’t vote because Divinity was left off the list, and the Trilogy+Eternity was the best continuing series under the old regime. Plus, some of the books (Incursion) under DMG, I feel like fall under the old regime. IDK :| Divinity wasn’t in the first 2 years, which is what the OP was comparing...

Re: VEI vs DMG Valiant: an honest poll
The poll question is a little lopsided in that VEI had the advantage of rebooting the line after many years of absence so there was a high anticipation factor. DMG took over after the newness had worn off and everyone was in a "what have you done for me lately" mindset. I was open-minded ...

Re: VEI vs DMG Valiant: an honest poll
I do think not enough people call out VEI for their early failures (Shadowman and EW specifically, 2nd arc of Q&W, and some others). Similarly, I don’t think DMG has been all bad either. A major knock on them has been the focus on non-tentpole characters. People are going to take sides no matter...

Re: The Visitor #2 discussion
13.5 pages of painfully stupid arguing about the safety of safe houses Yup, that’s about it! Hopefully 3rd issues a charm, and we find out who’s behind the mask, and what’s his motives, beyond his supposed enemies secret project... I don't know how many people noticed but issue #1 was WHO and issue...

Sure hope it's not a problem, but are you aware that Continuity comics has used this title? Apart from that, I sure agree with everyone that this is a great cover. /Magnus Yes, but it's probably past trademark protection now, unless Adams is trying to sell collections. But as I remember it, there i...
