spoilers..... It the book it was revealed that Black Bolt was a skrull and strongly hinted that other members were Skrulls. How long no one knows. This whole issue was set up in issue 1 of the series where the Illuminati interfered in the Kree/Skrull war. They were captured and references were made...

This is in response to the very interesting Who Owns Who? (or - The End Of Collecting?) thread. What is so interesting to me about the above thread is that I find myself in the exact oppsite side of the fence. I am probably unique as a collector in that the only books I have ever collected were Val...

I thinking of dropping Justice League, but I'll give it a couple more issues. (Of course, I've been saying that for a year.)
You and me both, brother....

doubt it....the tpb market is the money maker for the comic companies these days. The floppies are so expensive to make that a lot of times the tpb market is what keeps them afloat. tpb tend to be cheaper and more profitable. and again, the digital comics as they are being promoted right now are not...

Digital comics are not for us. We are not the market they are trying to attract. They are for young kids who do not read comics. Digital comics are the gateway drug to real comics or at least that is what the comic companies are hoping. The floppies aren't going anywhere....yet

Raw copies aren't too tough. I'm after CGC 9.8s of #3-6.
What kind of prices are you seeing? The ones I see are way too high. I would like to get one just to complete my set, but I don't want to break the bank

I order from Previews thru my LCS so I use them to keep track of what I have ordered. I go thru the whole comics section and circle what I want. I fold the corner of the page to mark it. Then I tear out all the pages with nothing circled. Go thru again and fill the order form. I keep the pages until...

Well, I must say that I am a bit shocked by how many people feel the same way as I do this topic. I have been feeling the same way for a long time. It feels like fatigue. Just sorta worn out by the constant, overwhelming flow of 'stuff'. I really want to sell most of my collection and stop collectin...

back when i was working at a comic store in the early 90's, we'd constantly get calls from kids wanting to know "how much is x-men #1 in near mint worth?" we'd politely ask which x-men #1 they were asking about and invariably they'd discover the x-men #1 they were holding was the $5 versi...

This is all well and good, but the seller usually has no proof at all that the buyer is not making everything up. There are buyers who ask for a partial refund on everything they buy. When you pack items as securely (as I do), do a page count and completeness check of every pre-1980 book I sell (li...

For the record....a buyer who insists on a partial refund instead of returning the item(s) for a full refund isn't necessarily trying to scam anyone. Why? Because when a buyer receives something that is not as described, and the seller insists that the item be returned, their time has not only been...

As soon as the seller gets payment he should leave feedback. That's what I do. As a buyer I leave feedback as soon as I get the item I paid for regardless if the seller has left feedback. The only time I don't leave feedback immediately is if there is something wrong with the item in which case I c...
