Got my copy with the Crusaders cover today. Flipped through for a whole at the store. Didn't expect it to be quite so cover image heavy and it seemed like variants were hit and miss (Comics Greatest World had some but Malibu seemed to be missing). Looking forward to digging in this weekend.

Love the new artist. Was digging the story until the last four pages where Bunn decides to personify everything into human form.

Seems like Lone Star is the only place acknowledging the blue-ish one which seems suspect since a) it mostly looks like a printing defect and b) I don't trust Lone Star on any level.

I never realized Majestic published comics. Just thought it was the cards. Adding these to my Dead Universe needs.

Johnson & Stroman's Tribe did the same thing with their "The Intro" card set being the first story and then only making a total of four issues across three publishers.

I thought War Mother was a terrible idea with decent execution, but I like FVL.

The Nijak vs Valiant Universe film/shorts were an absolute embarrassment.

To the point that February 2018 was the lowest multi-title month ever. DMG's takeover being announced January 29th, 2018 meaning the Dinesh iteration was already at its sales nadir. So, I don't see any evidence that Dinesh was going to turn the ship around. Particularly with the quality of the book...
