Re: Unity golden ticket books

BewareCyclops found the Crain cover at Forbidden Planet.

If I'm not mistaken, the ones that weren't found have the barcode on the back cover, so it's not even like you could check them easily if they're bagged in bins.

No plans for Divinity?

I did a trademark search today which I do time to time to see if I can get any clues as to what we might be seeing in the future, and it looks as if Valiant has let the trademark for Divinity to expire.

Re: I accidently got a PREORDER EDITION variant of Doc Tmw #3

Unless things have changed, the pre-order editions contain eight extra pages of behind-the-scenes information which are added to the middle of the book and are exclusive to the pre-order edition. Some of those extras get added to the trades, but they're exclusive to the pre-orders as far as single ...

Re: Is the VIP sneak peak the most undervalued Valiant book?

There are fewer than 200 of these "in the wild" (much closer to 100), and they're an official Valiant comic with little or no resale value at the moment. "most undervalued Valiant book"? Compared to the VIP SNEAK PEAK broken tricycle for $40, this thing was like a free Ferrari. ...

Re: Is the VIP sneak peak the most undervalued Valiant book?

What’s the deal on the FCBD book? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk For that particular FCBD, Greg arranged a Valiantfans edition. A few of us pledged to cover the cost of a full box, and then individually arranged to get other people to split up the box. I'm sure there's an old thread somewhere t...

Re: How many issues of Blank sketch books do you think are printed?

The flipbooks were convention exclusives for $20. The first 2 (X-O/Harbinger & Bloodshot/A&A) were both available at NYCC in 2012, but I think the first of the two sold out that weekend. I believe that at least the X-O/Harbinger had been available at a previous convention, which would make s...

Re: Is the VIP sneak peak the most undervalued Valiant book?

The only way I see this changing from a curiosity to something increasingly worth money is if something is done with the characters that are illustrated (under different names, of course). Is it a curiosity on par with the iBooks Magnus book or does its limited nature make it more valuable? They we...

Re: How many issues of Blank sketch books do you think are printed?

I am wondering about the print numbers for comics like Divinity Blank sketch and SAVAGE Blank sketch comic books since they have major first appearances. But, then I started to wonder If Valiant rolls out the same number of blank sketch books routinely regardless of print run of the other regular a...

Re: Is the VIP sneak peak the most undervalued Valiant book?

In order to be "the most undervalued Valiant book" the VIP Sneak Peak would have to first be a "Valiant book". It isn't. It's a Nikey shoe. It's a Ferraro car. It's a Butterthumbs candy bar. It's a hamburger from McDonney's. It's a bottle of Shoulder & Heads shampoo. Most im...

Re: Best Non-Ratio VEI Covers (Pre-DMG)

With the current state of new VEI publications, I’ve been slowly delving into the Pre-DMG books I didn’t get to read. Just read Book of Death and loved some of the covers to the series (finally, VEI Gilad becomes b@d *SQUEE* again after some bewildering showings). So, to my question. I’ve been comb...

Re: Good news about the Bloodshot movie

Forbes turned into clickbait, literally. They pay reporters based on number of clicks only. No clicks, no money. Or worse, they "pay" in "exposure." My sister is a film critic and she was approached by them to be a contributor. i.e. they want her work, but they don't want to pay...

The dance at the start was soooo good. Like a Reservoir Dogs ripoff good? Copied from RD 100% but maybe it is meant to be a homage to one of the best heist movies ever. That was my initial reaction as well (not a straight rip off, but obvious very heavily influenced by RD), which in the context of ...

Re: Spoiler Alert! BLOODSHOT MOVIE Discussion...come in only if you have seen the movie.

I was sitting next to my friend from South Africa in the theater, and she pointed out that the chase scene through London was actually the streets of Cape Town. As was the scene at the end of the movie, in case anyone was wondering what they filmed there.
