Re: Prelude to Armor Hunters, page 1....what the hell?
I'm disappointed with the replies, here. I'm not saying I won't enjoy Armor Hunters. In fact I'm very much looking forward to it. I'm saying WHAT THE HELL IS THIS calling XO a hero for humanity. Sure, he's a hero. But man that first page was all sappy AND flies in the face of all previous volumes

Prelude to Armor Hunters, page 1....what the hell?
I am referring to the Origin of XO page. Since when is the new XO a hero for Earth and he "found a new purpose" with "humanity, his people." No they're not. The Visigoth refugees are his people. His new purpose is to take care of his Visigoths. He defends Earth from the Vine beca...

I started my first Armor Hunters read last night
Technically I'm still in the Prelude (first few pages) but I consider that the beginning of the crossover. Do you?
I've read all previous volumes of XO and Unity Vol 1. I skipped Unity Vol 2 Webnet...is that a bad idea?

Elveen, is the "who would win" episode the same one I've heard, one of the first episodes pretty much pre-Dinesh?
Do you have an episode number for the VDitti interview episode on XO? I'd enjoy that. I enjoyed the James Asmus interview for the Deliquents Release Party

Re: Essential post-unity story arcs?
Jrosen, yes the replies to this thread were a little disappointing to me also. I've been working 11 hour days lately so I was going to just sit back, but also I have a spotty reading experience and don't feel qualified. But I strongly recommend the Malev War arc. The very first few Rai and the Futur...

Re: Win Atom!'s T-Shirts
Is this "contest" over with a lucky winner? I bought my first Valiant shirt today on Amazon (because I signed up for a trial on free shipping) in unrelated news.

Has the monster from end Deliquents made a 2nd appearance?
I'm talking about the half Mr Meat half Asian exec lady monster...which I personally think was about the most horrific villian in new Valiant. Did it have a name? I forget.

Re: BRAINSTORMING SESSION! Valiant unresolved storylines...
Got one! In classic Valiant Archer Armstrong 15 the duo breaks into an art museum heavily guarded by some unaccountably high-end soldiers...any idea who they were, and why? Maybe I need to keep reading. Oh and that's a very good inclusion for Andromeda. You're referring to Armstrong's wife in the cl...

Re: In classic Valiants, where was Armstrong in 4002 AD?
The white-haired dude on Magnus 44 is Armstrong??? I'd seen that cover in a $1 bin, and would have grabbed it if I had known. I do now. Thanks! For the OTV podcast, Only the Valiant, I am not sure what to recommend. I really enjoyed the first episodes and especially the WHO WOULD WIN discussions. Bu...

Re: June 9, 1999
It only took me 20 years to find this website, then. I've had worse failings. Oh well. But to be fair to myself it only took me 7 years since "discovering" Valiant. How ironic that by the time I've found things, the Danesh years have ended and the DMG limbo has begun

Re: Essential post-unity story arcs?
Just last night I was listening to the OTV podcast on their Top 5 episode and multiple guys there really loved a two-issue arc of Eternal Warrior. It may have been 6 and 7. Cover of first half was disturbing Darque licking blood off his glove. I haven't read it but really want to now.

In classic Valiants, where was Armstrong in 4002 AD?
This is my very first post, here. Which is ironic because I have been buying stacks of Valiant comics since 2012 of both old and new. I have a respectable collection, but nothing impressive. And I like message boards ever since the CCG game company Decipher back in the 90s. I owe my "discovery&...
