I agree that it is fine to have the VVSS issue in a new mylar sleeve, but it would be nice to have the original sleeve.

Knightfall was a very entertaining story arc, and it was the storyline that got me interested in Batman in the first place. I also liked when Kyle Rayner took over as GL, the Emerald Twilight storyline was great. Kyle was a young guy that new people to comics found more interesting that Hal. I am no...

IC #6 disappointed me as well. Also, the cover wasn't cardstock like the other issues have been. Did anyone else notice that? I didn't really care that Superboy died because he resembled nothing of the Superboy that I liked from the "Reign of the Supermen." Dan Didio talked about how Super...

Supergirl

I saw the neat variant of Supergirl #5 at Books-a-Million the other day and picked it up. This was a great issue because it had the big three working as a team. I haven't seen that in awhile in the DCU. Also, there was a great scene where Superman told Supergirl "don't believe everything you he...

The holograms used for Wolverine 75 and the rest of that storyline were very good. I also liked the all chromium cover for X-Men Alpha-Age of Apocalypse.

I finally got IC#5, and I too am going to get the remaining issues to finish the story. I am looking forward to some real fight scenes in the next issue, and I would like to see the old Lex beat the crap out of the new Lex.

Here's hoping this series ends with a bang!

Stancheck-- I think it was a good deal. You beat in the bidding for a few of those (esp the Harbinger 25). I figured you were trying to get a 9.8 run on Harbinger. Good luck.

Did anyone else read any of the destruction of Bludhaven tie-ins? The Nightwing issue was so-so, but the Superman tie-in was pretty good. It had Lois narrating the issue as if it was a newspaper article, and Superman was inspiring. I haven't seen Superman inspiring people and me (the reader) in some...

I don't see them killing off Wally. Bart is just to valuable to their Teen Titans line, and I don't think he has the support of the Flash community to be a successor right now. I liked Bart when he was simply Impulse (back in the 90's), but I don't feel he would be a good Flash right.

I agree with all that you say and that is why I really disliked this issue because when they destroyed Shan-hara they threw away the history that Aric had with his original armor.

This is where I feel Valiant started going downhill with the X-O issues.

I didn't care for the destruction of the suit because of all the journeys that Aric and Shan-hara had from the beginning. I also didn't buy the look of the new armor when it merged with Paul. Shan-hara had to evolve to the modern look over 2,000 years as Aric was in stasis. When Pol-Bek-Hara (new ar...
