Just finished "Legends of the Dark Knight: Alan Davis". Pretty on the eyes, but the story is kind of campy.

Re: What comics are you reading now?

The owner of my LCS has been letting me borrow his personal Hellboy and BPRD books. I have read almost all of the hellboy stories published and am a little bit past half on all BPRD. I will say Hellboy was missing a bit at the beginning, but I knew there was mad potential and after a while it has b...

Has it been really good? I do kinda regret dropping it just because it was so damn pretty
Yep. That was the only reason I started reading it before even the new 52. The art is amazing

Re: What comics are you reading now?

Just finished Batgirl Year One. What an awesome read! Marcos Martin is one of the most underrated artist in the biz. The story was fantastic, the characters were spot on and it focused on Batgirl, with just enough of a sprinkling of Batman to wet your appetite, but not overwhelming. A very fun and a...

Just finished the last Remender Uncanny X-Force tpb that ended the series. This was one of my favorite comics when it started out, but the last storyarc wasn't that good. Re: Grant Morrison

Grant Morrison's stuff is pretty strange. New X-Men is probably one of the more "normal" things he's written, other than his run on JLA. Invisibles is probably the most deeply Morrison thing there is. The Filth and Flex Mentallo get a bit overboard and strange. My favorite Grant Morrison ...

Re: Grant Morrison

I've been on a bit of a Morrison run lately and some stuff I really like and some I really don't. Doom Patrol and his recent Batman run have been my favorites. Thought Animal Man was ok, JLA was pretty good (although the art hurt to look at most of the time), Arkham Asylum was fine, Gothic was fine...

So, I read Arkham Asylum and his run on X-Men (new x-men). I did not like either. Is there something that I'm missing? There's going to be a new Batman per Newsarama: Earth 2 is continuing the origin of the New 52 Dr. Fate. Robinson praised artist Nicola Scott who will draw the entire arc and said “she raised the bar even further.” Captain Steel is an important piece to a major event in 2014 and issue #13. “The Annu...
