Re: Archer & Armstrong #25 Discussion
No, I believe Ghost was a separate Psiot ability, they said Harada didn't know about it yet. The invisibility was part of it. The cover was hilarious Michael Jackson satire. I'm guessing a lot in this is non-canon because Sir Gualterio messes up a lot of stuff, he's clearly not nanite based but look...

Well it IS getting an omnibus, just like Harbinger Wars and its tie-ins. http://www.amazon.com/Armor-Hunters-Deluxe-Stephen-Segovia/dp/193934672X/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1417408067&sr=1-1&keywords=armor+hunters+deluxe" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Re...

Re: Dynamite (sucks!)
I've only read the first few issues of each, Turok was bad, but both Magnus and Doctor Solar seemed to be promising, even if the humor in Magnus was trying to be "too edgy", and I didn't quite get where Solar was going. I admit I've been out of the loop on them for several months, though.

Re: DISCUSSION: Archer & Armstrong #23
I haven't seen a sorcerer's plan turned around on them like that in a comic since the end of Fullmetal Alchemist! Well done! As for the Faraway existing outside of time, time-arcs are also not really inside time, either, so that's why they can connect. Time-arcs are like wormholes, they're not part ...

Re: Continuity Questions
Based on Harbinger: Omegas #1, it looks like the order of events is this 1) the Psiot leak happens - the fallout and people freak out - happens for a week 2) Harada makes his move on the carrier 3) And then the Armor Hunters invasion happens - Mexico City gets destroyed. 4) Gen Zero/Faith & Tor...

Re: Harbinger: Omegas #1 Discussion
Epic. I don't know why people were worried about them doing this miniseries. This issue had some of the best art I've seen in the new Valiant books since the beginning. Too bad the very last line had a typo. Sigh...it would have been a completely flawless issue of a comic book otherwise. I don't kno...

Does anyone else think the mask on Reebo's right should looks like a Shadowman mask? Might be a stretch, but it has a very similar cut, including the points around the mouth. Let's not bring Shadowman into it, as the introduction of the Armor Hunters made me suddenly realize that the Deadside seems...

Re: Donny Cates has been asked by Valiant to pitch for Q&W
I found Kano's art to be spectacular and I enjoyed that two-parter and thought it was hilarious. The last two issues felt like filler and I'm pretty sure they were clearly designed to be filler. That's been an issue with Valiant outside of their X-O and Harbinger, though, has been a tendency to crea...

Okay, upon rereading Bleeding Monk #0, I take back what I said about inadequate setup for his role in this issue. One continuity question though: When Bleeding Monk departs the desiccated corpse of the NLoW, he appears as he originally was, a white man of Greek descent. When we next see him in the ...

I don't know why they published these. They'd have been better off just putting Shadowman on hiatus like they did with Eternal Warrior.
So will Shadowman be a villain now?

Re: Is anyone just buying Trades and not single issues?
I was just buying trades with the odd single issue and of course digital, now I'm switching more to digital and holding out for the yearly hardcovers rather than buying trades...I still buy single paper issues though. Basically it's a completely random hodgepodge of stuff, other than my intention to...

It's not a continuity error, although I think it requires a suspension of disbelief that Ninjak and Aric can get to Russia that quickly that Helix and Quartz haven't left the Russian facility. Call it more a plot hole, depending on where Ninjak and Aric were at on the planet when Mexico City was bom...

Re: Why is Shadowman Deluxe Edition missing two issues????
I don't think I've seen a truly bad Bloodshot issue...even those poorly drawn ones where they crossed over with A&A had good humor/dialogue. #11 was the Halloween special, right? And it was really bad. I forget #12's plot completely, so I guess it also was pretty bad? I agree it would make more ...

Re: What's your Armor Hunter name?
I think the more you look at them the sillier they get. I mean I had to do it ten times to get "Cause of Death: Spring break" and "Reading "50 Shades of Armor" on space flight. Blown out of airlock by comrades." EDIT: By the way, they all seem to recolors of the Armor H...

Well, this event is off to a cracking good start. :thumb: Questions abound though: - Primary's comments over 'it will turn, they will turn'. If the armor(s) are parasitic to a degree, then what is their ultimate goal? What catastrophe spurred the creation of these hunters? It would seem either the ...

My review is up. --- The following is a review of Armor Hunters #1 , a comic book published by Valiant Entertainment on June 11, 2014. http://media.tumblr.com/878cb2902d69db593b44f6c56e7d239b/tumblr_inline_n7344aDPfT1qmpq4d.png It seems safe to describe Armor Hunters #1 as the first attempt by the n...

Well the opening sequence itself is a tongue-in-cheek joke about it, what with the theme song having the lyrics "Strong female protagonist/Her aggressiveness does not compromise her femininity/Her subjectivity and sexuality exist independent of the male gaze". I think it's just a joke that...

Re: Rant about decompression of comics
I feel the opposite. I like a story to breathe. I like elements of the universe to be introduced slowly. Look at Eternal Warrior. That universe has no time to breathe and the introduction of elements just feels smothering, since they are not only creating a universe with a deep mythology, but also t...

Re: Quantum & Woody #11 Discussion
It's a tongue-in-cheek joke. I don't think it's saying that Q&W has overtly sexualized its female characters, just that comics in general have. The art was okay, they have Kano working on the Delinquents so having someone fill in just to get these two issues out is fine by me. Shouldn't you all ...

Something I don't get with this miniseries--didn't Jack meet the ghost of his father in Deadside during one of the earlier issues? Why is his father now alive and in a different dimension from Deadside?
