I know what you mean. Was surprised as well. Thought at first the board had been replaced completely. This is my first post in a while so will have to check out all the changes. Looks good, though.

As I recall, #9 was a pretty good issue as well. A&A #0 remains my single favorite Valiant issue. Very tough to pick between A&A 0-12, Solar 1-13, and Mags 0-16 as the better title runs. Solar is my personal favorite but all three are "brilliant".

Shooter, Layton, Massarsky, Hartz, BWS, KVH, Don Perlin and Bob Hall are the names I most associate with "the founding days" of Valiant, even though KVH and Bob Hall didn't really get going til right around, just after Unity. Also, Janet Jackson. Her color format really helped make the bo...

Only observation I would make about the print runs in relation to their success is that only Mighty Samson as I recall has failed to outsell the Stan Lee books from BOOM. Unity is a better read than CE in a bathroom or anywhere else for that matter. Not to mention the historical value of the book.

'My' copy did not show up at my LCS... I also have a copy coming from DCBS but I don't know when it will show up. Until then... I can't comment but I sure will when I am able to read this bad boy.
