Well, the packaging helps, but it kind of looks like another Rubber Magnus.
Or better yet, Magnus: Rubber Fighter (someone here is BOUND to make a funny GIF of THAT one...)

the packaging totally helps, but... the statue... yeah, I think it looks rather terrible. Maybe in person it looks better, but I haven't seen any online pictures that made me think it looked decent at all.

it makes me think of stretch armstrong for some reason...

although Magnus Rubber Fighter is freakin' great. :)

Since we're posting about Magnus...

Justin,

I'm currious as to what's the deal with these 9.8s. Were these for a fan project or something? I am not sure. Anyway, I think they are super cool. :thumb: :thumb: Others are interested in them as well.

WELCOME BACK TO THE BOARDS!!!! :thumb:

Yes, those are for something I was/am working on with 2 people. They were suppose to be auctioned off before this month, but with my reclusion, I dropped the ball and didn't get them all done.

All the creators who have signed books for this and will be signing them have been super cool to do it. So... look for these next summer, not really as a fan project but more of a collaberation between 3 individuals here on the boards and a handful of creators.

Thanks for the welcome back, I am not really back in full capacity yet. I am still taking it slow and easy and still have a handful of people to get taken care of before I become a member of the community in the same capacity I once was. Whew, that was long winded, but thank you.

I saw one first-hand at the comic store I went to in Seattle last June. It looked crappy. The $49.95 retail price tag was laughable. Needless to say, it's probably still sitting there. That guy was a hardass about his overpriced stock.---Steve

So, can someone just get the tin if they want? :hm:

I've always thought the Magnus 12 cover would make an AWESOME statue. :thumb:

Same boat here.

The tin looks great but the statue looks like it had a REALLY small production budget.

Because DUDE! It's THAT bad....

It's like a car wreck... you know, the one that is all bloody and awful and you shouldn't look and you don't want to, but you are compelled to and look anyway.

It's all right, he'll learn to ignore the too-obvious ones after a while, folks.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.
