As the artist of my absolute favorite cover of all time (Rai #0), I am gonna have to take you up on this offer!
I will grab this book tomorrow when I get my new comics for the week.
Expect a copy of Rai #0 in the mail from me!
I have been a fan of your work since the Valiant days! And seeing that you are a class guy like this makes me want to pick up EVERYTHING with your name on it from here on out!
Thanks in advance!

I must of been lucky.
Forbiden planet in Cambridge had copies of issues one and two on the shelf.
Bonus ? behind that I found a free xmen? comic book from free comic book day.
Least I had an excuss to use my gift vouchers. the way I am going, I can get another 8 issues without using cash!
Talk about an in your face first issue, haven't read the second one yet.

Mr. Lapham mentioned earlier in this thread that his representative was going to be listing some original art pages on eBay. There was quite a few Plasm pages, but I was most interested in the page from #0, which is a great story. I put in the initial bid and was pleasantly surprised to find out I won this morning.ncameron wrote:NiceBrother J wrote:I won an original art page from Warriors of Plasm #0!

Hopefully they order more. You never know with stores....
Thanks to everyone who's given it a try. I know it's a little different that Valiant. Obviously this is what's going on in my dark heart. (This from the guy who Jim (Shooter) used to tease because I got upset when Kris "buddied" up to Torque over Pete.)
I hope you see the similarity is in solid storytelling. Valiant's where I cut my chops and learned how to tell the tales to make you miserable.
This may interest you guys. Vertigo did an "animatic" trailer for Young Liars. Parts of it are cool and parts aren't but you may want to give a looksee. I would've put it up on my mySpace page, but I can't seem to figure out how to yet.
I can't find it on the Vertigo site, anymore, but someone put up a low quality video of it on YouTube.

If you dig it great. If not don't be scared off. I didn't make it.

I think the trailer is pretty good and makes you want more. My LCS was sold out of both #1 and #2 earlier this week when I asked for it but they agreed to order more copies and I shared your deal about signing books so hopefully they will promote a little harder. And I won two Daredevil vs. Punisher art pages last night! My week's rocking!
Honestly myself and Shelly Bond (the book's editor) tried hard to be involved and be heard, but ultimately this was a promotions gig. It's WAY better than I feared it might be and I like the action stuff like Sadie jumping into the crowd, hitting Marcus, and biting the nose. But a few things (Danny gaping, the dancing, Sadie snapping) make me cringe a bit.Drift wrote:I loved "LUST, POWER, pretty girls"
Other than that I think they did a pretty good job of capturing the essence of the story in the trailer.
Yeah...This is the next problem we have to deal with. I remember fromt he El Capitan days it being very frustrating when you get folks to go to the store and there's nothing for them. All we can do is ask the stores to reorder and hope they do, and then hope DC will fill the order.geocarr wrote:I think the trailer is pretty good and makes you want more. Its actually not bad, thought they used a cheap cheesy font for the info between the animation....(NOT the rock, and, roll font).DL wrote:AHHHH!Chuck wrote:I just bought the last second issue, but I could not find the first issue (at Heroes in Campbell, CA).

Speaking of which....do you shop at any local stores in the area...?DL wrote:Yeah...This is the next problem we have to deal with. I only know of Legacy in Glendale....
(and no, this isn't for the purposes of stalking. I'm not a stalker. No matter what my job description says....)
I'm probably shouldn't admit this but I'm not a regular store goer. If I need something though, I'll usually try Comics Factory in Pasadena.ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:Speaking of which....do you shop at any local stores in the area...?DL wrote:Yeah...This is the next problem we have to deal with.
