The aliens look like a cross between Necrons and Tyranids from Warhammer 40K to me.

Every tidbit gets me more excited! I am looking so forward to this launch, and being able to get in on the ground floor of this launch as opposed to coming in 2 years later makes me so excited to dedicate my income to supporting Valiant. I'm actually looking forward to actively dedicating myself to an entire comic universe for the first time!

I am so incredibly excited to hear the writing/art team! One thing I have to say is that the new Valiant have been doing a great job lately of churning up excitement and building up their game.

I noticed that IGN labels this X-O series as "Volume 3". That's something I've been wondering for a while, if VEI would continue with the Volume numbering. VEI made it clear they would start with issue #1, but this is the first I've seen or heard of the Volume number.

I wonder if that's something IGN assumed, or if VEI confirmed it.

"The Vine" has a nice ring to it. I think it has a mysterious and sinister feel to it. So far I am liking these new additions.
