I don't get it. Me feel old and worfless.
Just search for "valiantComics" or "robleifeld" and anything mentioning either will pop up. Valiant is retweeting most of it themselves.

Nice to see Valiant taking the high road in all of this:
“@ValiantComics: @robertliefeld have to say, we're all loving the new prophet in the office. Last issue was the best yet.”
Oh and between Robs "10 books" he keeps mentioning, what's the over-under on how many of those are cancelled before the Summer of Valiant wraps?

And pouches. Yes, I know you mentioned it, but more pouches. A pouch belt around every thigh. You see, the more pouches a character has, the more invincible he is.

Here's a refresher on the Rob Liefeld theory on comic book art. http://www.progressiveboink.com/archive/robliefeld.html

Yeah, and according to one of his tweets he's at his kids baseball practice right now. Real bang-up parenting there Rob :thumb: I wish I could divide my attention between typing 150 tweets and supporting my son as he participate in his passion.

How do you support at baseball practice? If you say anything at all, you'll just embarass the kid. (Shut up, Dad!)

What is that about??? Is that true??
I would agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

Yeah, Rob's just being *SQUEE* at this point. It's pretty obvious that there are some peeps (me included) buying a bunch of these for our own reasons. Do I think issue #2 is going to be 42K+? hell no. However, I do think that issue 14 damn well may be.

Haha I also have one of those. And I have an iPad to tweet, message and post on comic book discussion boards. :)

With the various retailers and others in the know floating around these boards, you would think something like that would have gotten out already. Doesn't make any sense...Valiant is a start up, why would they throw money away like that...?

Ahem....no.

Rob is maybe having a bad day, or angry about something we may not know the details of. He's being a d!ck, right now. I get it.

The only thing the dude is guilty of is drawing dudes with big guns, chicks with little waists and being more enthusiastic about his own work that anyone I've ever seen. Not a weasel or worm. Paradise has even gone to his defense.

Opinionated? Oh yeah.

Foul? No.

How have I never seen this quote before?

Peter David responded to Liefeld's 1996 work on the "Heroes Reborn" Captain America by proclaiming Liefeld the "Ed Wood of comics"

Yeah I read his Wikipedia page a little while ago. Wow! I knew he had been kicked out of Image but I didn't know what for? There was no internet back then to read all the juicy gossip. How on Earth did he ever get back in???
