I think Sean said the next episode drops on Sunday. This is the interview we have been teasing.

We are going to record one probably late next week to drop in two weekends. Sean is just saying his life has been hectic.
Exactly. It seems like we have less and less time to talk about more and more. The last time we recorded, we had five books that had been released, and only ended up with enough time to talk about 2 of them.

Back in the day it seemed like we had all the time in the world to talk comics, and go over listener emails and voicemails, and do recent reads. Now it's a struggle just to cover all the great comics.

We could do a run of 30 backissues, hit a few e-mails, sneak in a soulful ballad or two and a recent read in less than 80 minutes.

Now I don't think we can fit discussion of 4 comics in that same time frame.

Sounds like a good problem to have. It's like a business being too busy.

Take out the whole "revenue model" thing, and it's exactly like that!

Slight correction: we discuss Shadowman #2 in Episode 2. Original post has been updated.

Another great episode! I don't understand though, how you manage to talk about three books in half an hour :?

Great stuff! Can't wait for more.

I think part of it has to do with where the three titles are at in their respective story arcs. Shadowman is still setting up it's world and we're still getting to know the characters. A & A just kicked off a new arc, so not a lot has transpired in the new storyline as of yet. Bloodshot on the other hand gives us plenty to talk about, especially in light of the Harbinger Wars news.

They don't have the ADHD that the OTV crew has. Not that that's a bad thing. The tangents are actually my favorite parts. Chiclo is very good at leading you guys far far away from the topics you begin talking about - and I love it!

You can ask all my co-hosts; I'm a bit of a taskmaster at making sure that we stay on topic.

Usually when we get together to record, I say something like, "let's try to keep it to 15 minutes per book". Half hour later, we're still talking about the first book. We lack discipline. I mostly blame Elveen :P

Going to listen to episode 2 tomorrow. I wait for the price drop on Comixology. So I always get my Valiant books a month later. Therefore I have to wait that much longer before I can listen to this podcast and OTV. All to save a lousy dollar. lol

Just wait until those lousy dollars turn into a new TV or phone or whatever it may be. :P I hope you enjoy the show. ^^

It's interesting to hear new Valiant readers feel their way into the VEI universe. I was baffled by the criticism of Harbinger #7, think it was referred to as cliched? :?

Super podcast, right to the point with excellent discussion on the the story arcs and art.

Adam is great at summerizing the issues, very concise and it sounds great with a British accent
