Bloodshot Photo Shoot

Post by bribri »

Hi, gang. I've been really excited to share these images with our Valiant community/family. This is a little project I've been thinking about for a few month and finally accomplished over the weekend. I'll be posting to Valiant's Facebook and Twitter tonight as well. This was intended to be a Fan Art Friday submission, but I can't wait till Friday.

I hope you enjoy them!

Yes, details please. And yes, this rocks!

That first pic is my favorite. Love the pose, the "I'm gonna kill you" expression, and that concrete wall as a backdrop. Everything about it is totally cool. :thumb:

Thank you for the kind words.

Details? Well, it started with knowing a guy who is ripped and has a square jaw. Combine that with a passion for projects and a passion for Valiant, and there you go!

I first set out to do this around Halloween. It didn't work out, but I finally got to it. Steven was a great sport, especially with the red contact lenses. They were a nightmare to get in. I bought a lot of gear from an army surplus store, as well as some Ben Nye makeup. There were some challenges to be sure, but overall I'm really happy with the project.

I'm a little sad at the moment though. I put these photos on Facebook and then posted a link on Valiant's page. It appears that they have deleted my link from their timeline. Perhaps they feel there is some violation here. Not sure, but to be honest I was approaching this as fan art. There must be a good reason.

They probably don't want to offend the family of the dead guy in the elevator.

Okay, it looks like my link is still there after all. For some reason it wouldn't show up on my phone, but I see it on my laptop. Kind of relieved. I hope they appreciate it.
