There's a X-O #1 Aja 1:20 with a 2nd print X-O #1 on ebay right now with a Buy It Now price of $9.99.

I think I paid $30 for the Aja alone, last year. As a Valiant fan, some of the collectibles are nice to have but I am under no illusions as to market price a year or two down the road.

Just received my Unity Red. This was the 2nd copy I purchased off ebay and got it for $37.00 shipped. It's a beautiful copy that appears to be a solid CGC candidate. I'm going to take a closer look tonight and might end up submitting it modern fast track.

I hope my LCS gets at least 2 ... I know Depluto goes to my LCS also

So I hope we both can get one

I guess I'll find out if they have one for me when I go next week
I saw it in there ... I told him I would probably buy one down the road sometime. He also wasn't sure if he could sell it before Unity 1 comes out.
He had a pretty high asking price so I told him i'd think about it

I just went on EBAY and saw one pop up for 25 bucks with free shipping; so I bought that one. :thumb:

Yup, I've had calculated buy prices for a number of variants, and it's a sliding scale...and has kept sliding! :)

Just curious if any fellow Canadians got a copy of the Unity - True Patriot Love edition (aka Unity Red preview in the US :poke: ) this week? Still no sign of it at mine today...

Looks like it's skewing $35 now. It'll be interesting to see how low it goes. A few with defects are going for less.

I still view this book going back up a bit when Unity launches.

I managed to pick up a Buy It Now this afternoon for $24.99 shipped. I think I've seen one or two on eBay end for around $20. Just wait it out, people. I don't know if my shop ever got one of these or not.

I think these books are going to be widely available (like I've said from the beginning)

And I'm not saying they will not have value, I just thought the shadowman black-ish prices were high and would come down.

They will still be a bit more rare than your normal issue though, and at a 9.8 will still be a nice addition to any VEI collection. Will be interesting to see, but that won't be until 6-7 months from now.

Btw, check-out my 30 second Shadowman video:

I got my copy today (25 bucks w/free shipping)

I was a little worried that the buy it now price was that low because it wasn't a good copy .. but the comic looks beautiful. Looks like a 9.8 to me. :high-five:

90% of all variants take a nose-dive after the initial release....it's like turning the key on a brand-new car.

So far in October .. there have been 6 auctions that have completed ... and the average price was around 28 bucks

I think as more Unity stuff comes out for Valiant fans to chase ...this average price will most likely go a lot lower

In a month I could see them going for 10-15 bucks on average

Went to my LCS today to pick up the new books. The owner walked up to me and said he's been waiting to re-gift something to me, and then he handed me an envelope from VEI. Inside was a copy of Unity Red, which he gave to me for free.

My LCS is the best...

I just picked up my huge stack of books from my LCS. Finally talked to the owner about Unity Red. He said it was mine for a donation of my choosing to the CBLDF. I donated $20 and it is now mine. Looks pretty NM. I flipped through it. Can't wait to see the text. My LCS owner also said he has read #1. He said it was amazing.
