I'm sort of looking past this issue to issue 13
But the preview looks promising enough

I think VEI is too. This is obviously just another place-holder until the new team comes on, but they've really avoided promoting this issue.bygranddesign wrote:I'm sort of looking past this issue to issue 13

Re: Shadowman #12 Preview
I've noticed the Volume 3 TPB for Shadowman—collecting issues 0, 10, 11 and 12—is called "Deadside Blues". Interesting name and interesting collection for a few reasons:
- 1. It contains two of the best VEI books (0 and 11) as well as these "throw-away" issues (11 and 12).
2. All other TPBs have been named after the story arcs they represent.
3. This is the first TPB that doesn't contain one cohesive story (aside from The Summer of Valiant collection).
4. Issue 12 appears to be the only issue that has anything to do with Deadside.
5. It makes me wonder if "blues" represents the feelings toward how this this book has been received thus far.

Re: Shadowman #12 Preview
I was wondering if that was how the third trade would be organized. It makes sense, though, to collect those 4 "stand alone" issues almost as an anthology of Shadowman tales.bribri wrote:I've noticed the Volume 3 TPB for Shadowman—collecting issues 0, 10, 11 and 12—is called "Deadside Blues". #11 was not great, but #0 and #10 were and #12 looks promising. I think it could be presented to a new reader as a quick catch-up on Shadowman before the new team/adjusted concept take over.

Re: Shadowman #12 Preview
Art looks impressive in this book, that said I'm still not planning jumping back into Shadowman until #13, I tried #11 and wasn't overwhelmed with the full in issue.
