Time To Do More Amazon TPB Reviews!
When Elery and I finished the Round #2 of TPB Reviews Promotion, there were 10 TPBs. That was in October.
There are now 20 TPBs!
We've noticed a huge difference in the number of reviews done on Amazon.com for these and are hoping you could help out by doing a number of reviews and then urging other members to do the same to help VEI.
The first 10 TPBs which were subject to Round #1 and #2 Promos, now have 579 written and video reviews.
The most recent 10 TPBs which have NOT been subject to any promo, have a total of only 56 reviews!
We need some help here members. After the Round #2 extra was received, there were dozens of posts from people about how happy they were with the generosity shown by VEI and often stated that they would like to be able to do something to show their appreciation. Well, here is the best and most demonstrable way to thank and help VEI. Just go to Amazon and write these reviews for the latest TPBs.
Elery and I are still keeping the TPB Database up each week so we know who has done what reviews in case there is a Round #3 promo .
So, are you up to the challenge? We think you most assuredly are and are asking you to do your part!
Thanks so much.

Wish I had the self-discipline to write the reviews as I buy the trades. As I don't, I am happy you are here to remind us. Writing a review is a simple way to help and also to get one's opinion out there.brucehartshorn wrote:When Elery and I finished the Round #2 of TPB Reviews Promotion, there were 10 TPBs. I try my best to get each reviewed as I get them in,as its a good way to help VEI and get the word out to more comic readers.

Which 10 are these? I wasn't here for "Round #2" but I'd like to help anyway.brucehartshorn wrote: The most recent 10 TPBs which have NOT been subject to any promo, have a total of only 56 reviews!

If you go to Amazon.com, you can see all the VEI TPBs which you can do reviews on. Ideally, we would love to have people do all 20 reviews. Any and all you can do are a big help.

Okay, I added 2 more. I'll work on one or two a day if I can until I get caught up. I plan to review the Deluxe Editions as well, since I have them and the are fracking BEAUTIFUL pieces.
I wonder what it would be like to be a lonely, muck-encrusted monster? Probably be an improvement.

I'll start on some more very soon, I have been a bit slack lately due to work, but I will get there.

Re: Time To Do More Amazon TPB Reviews!
Round 1 & 2 consisted of the following TPB's:The Noto wrote:Which 10 are these? I wasn't here for "Round #2" but I'd like to help anyway.brucehartshorn wrote: The most recent 10 TPBs which have NOT been subject to any promo, have a total of only 56 reviews!
X-O 1-3
Bloodshot 1-2
A&A 1-2
Harbinger 1-2
Shadowman 1
So, anything after those would be new. I already tackled X-O 4, Bloodshot 3, A&A 3, Harbinger 3, Shadowman 2-3, Harby Wars 1, and Quantum & Woody 1 a little while back. That would be 8 out of the new 10 it seems. I'll have to look and see what the other 2 are and get them done!

Will do.
Thank you for the reminder.
Maybe a surprise round #3 with little notice will keep us on our toes.
Will catch up, promise.

I wish their was a Spinal Tap comic, and I had a copy CGC graded at 11.

Did Xo and A&A and EW, finished Bloodshot 1&2, will try to get to the rest this week. (Not interested in participating in the promo however).

Re: Time To Do More Amazon TPB Reviews!
Just finished Bloodshot #4 and Eternal Warrior #1 reviews. It sucked to give EW only 3 stars, but I gotta 'keep it 90'. That completes my 10 new TPB reviews I believe. Glad to help as usual.

Re: Time To Do More Amazon TPB Reviews!
Just a note, amazon doesn't have Harbinger 4 perfect day up, so I wasn't able to review, but all others are current. Surprised there were only 6 reviews for EW

Re: Time To Do More Amazon TPB Reviews!
I think I have reviewed all the current TPB's. I looked through all the TPB's I have reviewed and the early TPB's don't show up anymore as being reviewed by me. Anyone else notice this?
