Valiant on Instagram

So a while back I went looking for VALIANT on INSTAGRAM, and was surprised that there was none (... Well, I guess that is not 100% true, as there were two accounts made that had zero posts and/or info...)

Anyhow, being the kind of guy I am, it made sense to start one up and try to reach as many potential future Valiant customers, collectors, and readers as possible. So I spoke to a few social media marketing types (people whose actual job it is to promote things on social media) and asked how to connect to the right audience with the most efficiently. So after a few days, we created a hashtag list of about 30 industry-related hashtags, and started posting.

It's cool, as 1,000's of views/likes of Valiant art have taken place, and as of today 200+ followers have been gained. Now, I know 200 is a lame and somewhat rinky-dink amount, but give it time, little by little, it will grow, and it will grow with those who are OUTSIDE of the Valiant circle (you know, those people who "WANT" to be Valiant Fans, they just don't know it yet and need a tap on the shoulder...).

Just today I had a comment asking how to find Valiant comics, and another person telling me they are creating a custom LIVEWIRE action figure for the hell of it.

It's pretty damn cool though, and makes me personally happy to help promote the very thing that we love so much.

Also, if you haven't already, seek out some of the VEI artists that are on there (Cary Nord posts all the time). It would be a good way to spread the following.
