Could issue #25 bring forth the end of bloodshot and the start of a "new" bloodshot?

Haha, I already replied on that facebook post telling Valiant that Bloodshot's already walked away from worse and that they're not to be fooling us with hype-generating buzzwordsgrendeljd wrote:Jeezus that is some absolutely stunning work by Larosa.bygranddesign wrote:

Anyway, really glad to see the book back in the first place for sure, let alone as 'Bloodshot' again. Hope it's a return to form for me, as I enjoyed Bloodshot much more as it was, before it became '+HARD Corps'

Technically Bloodshot ended at issue #13 as a title.StarBrand wrote:According to Bleeding Cool, Bloodshot will resume in October, and it will pick up at issue 24, in view of it having ceased originally at issue 23. I really hope it's true that it resumes at issue 24, not with a new first issue. That would be a great precedent, and I strongly applaud VEI for resuming Bloodshot at issue 24 if that's accurate.

Bloodshot & HARD Corps went #14 -#23 and ended.
Bloodshot is resuming as the title banner atop the book with #24 and I couldn't be happier.
Most, if not all, VEI readers felt that the marketing dept was toying with the phrasing of BS&HC ending. We were already aware of the hiatus plans afterall.
Bloodshot is my second favorite title, but neck/neck, with XO as my favorite title!!
Hope the #25 issue is better done than XO though (Harby is still unknown).

Re: Bloodshot will resume in October
So just to check, 'cos I'm a little out the loop at the moment:
'Bloodshot' will resume directly after the Armour Hunters miniseries ends? Or is there a break for a month or something before the comic hits the shelves again?

No break. The AH mini-series runs July, August, and September, and then the series comes back in October.

Re: Bloodshot will resume in October
All the artwork Lewis is posting on FB lately is just blowing my mind, it's so good.
He has been publicly commenting about how working around guys like Cary & Mico are making him feel the need to 'raise his game'... This is the kind of team chemistry & thinking that is going to make for some legendary Valiant artwork from these guys. We're lucky to be witnessing it as it unfolds.

The Golden Age of Valiant has been here for 2 years.
We are indeed very lucky. The company will hopefully grow in the best of ways: quality before quantity and GREAT, AMAZING creators and staff. These recent news poin to an even shiner light on VEI.
Yup, Golden Age.

Saw some tweets from the writer for #24. He stated that he is only writing that one issue, so we're still in the dark for #25 and forward.

grendeljd wrote:+1StarBrand wrote:VEI resuming their titles at the numbering where it left off is sure refreshing. I think it adds importance to each issue that has already been published previously, and goes against the sickening trend of constant relaunches by other publishers.
I am so glad they are doing this with their books. I hope this turns into something of another trend setting sales technique for VEI. I for one am quite happy to see the odd hiatus for a mini-series if they keep resuming the original numbering afterwards.
Personally, as long as the legacy numbering continues....I would love to see more books done this way and maybe even multiple minis per title as time goes on. Absolutely fantastic way of doing things but ONLY if the legacy numbering continues.
