Well this has me curious...
We're going to have the biggest announcement that the company's ever done. But besides that, I don't want to hint at too much. [Laughs] I don't want to set expectations too high, but I am very, very, very happy. I'm very excited. We've got an extraordinary creative team, an extraordinary story. It's going to be a lot of fun.

My gut reaction was movie announcement. But his mention of their creative team suggests it's comic-related. I'm guessing that they landed a really big name for one of their titles. Or that they've made the decision to expand.

You notice there is no :kidaround: in my post. I left it that way intentionally. It is mostly joke, but according to interviews and the letters column in the back of issues, Warren is really a Trinity Angels fan.

As much as I wish this was indicative of expansion, it doesn't look like the case:
In regards to the number of books released a month, Valiant has expanded to a point, but hasn't flooded the market in a way they might be tempting. How much more room do you see in the short-term future to grow that number?

I think we're going to focus on nine titles as our maximum for the foreseeable future. Quality is paramount.

It'd be sick if Pia Guerra starts pencilling an ongoing book for Valiant. She has just done a variant cover for A&A #24. I hope she does more. I'd also love to see a full comic done by David Aja. That dude is a beast! It would be awesome to have him on an ongoing for Valiant as well.
So, those are my hopes and dreams, and unrealistic wishes for interpreting Warren's blurb.
